and they are pretty good about letting me know. Every now and then they forget though; and she switches her days about on me sometimes. When that happens (they upload at 6pm or so) I just do it the next day and shift things about if necessary. All you can do is ask them to advise you when he is going to be off and hope they do. Also if you are going away, take a laptop and have it set up for work so you can check for work anywhere you happen to be; otherwise you would never go visit friends, relatives, etc.

When working for Edix, I had a patient that had the exact same condition my son has and there was a new treatment that had saved his life, yet her doctor did not know about it and she was at the point of being near death and only in her 20s. I emailed my supervisor and asked them to please notify the doctor of the information I sent and they said nope, no way, against the law. That was nearly 3 years ago and still bothers me wondering how the patient turned out.
