I am also terrified of the dentist sm

In Reply to: Root Canals...sm - CURIOUS

Personally, Never Again will I have a root canal and crown. The crown was not put in correctly and now I have decay underneath the crown and will be having the rest of the tooth pulled and a vaneer put in.

It is very costly and had I known that could happen, I would have had the tooth pulled in the first place under sedation or something.

The only part that hurt during the root canal was the needle. The after effects is just annoying and frustrating. I'd rather go to the gynecologist than the dentist!

I can tell when I have got to get out of the house because I start to get terrified of driving my
car and being out in traffic, which used to never bother me.  Church doesn't bother me but hate the grocery and malls during peak hours.
My dentist did braces; however, my
next step will be surgery. I have an appointment with an oral surgeon.
would you hire an MT to be a dentist
without any formal training???? I get very frustrated with people who ask me to get them a job because, after all, how hard can just sitting there typing be?

This is a serious job. You can change a patients past, present and future by one mistake on a report. You do not "travel this avenue" for fun.

If you want to be an MT, and can be serious about it, then you will take an MT course and learn what you need to know. If you are not willing to do that then you need to find another avenue.
per my dentist, when i asked,
most of them are not worth it, unless you need a lot of work, as they are expensive and coverage not usually so good.
Find a dentist who will knock you out! Had it done

about 23 years ago a dentist told me I needed 4
crowns at about $800/each.  Changed dentists a couple of times since and no one has ever told me I needed crowns.
What kindof a doctor would you see for a TMJ problem, or would you see a dentist? nm

When somebody states they got 'novocaine' at the dentist and you know its an archaic term.

$2500-2600 not counting entertainment, doc/dentist

That's just rent, phone, electric, car, car ins., gas, and food.
