The demos are a bit easier to put in than say, ExText. It IS a Word client like ExText, so if you are a Smart Type user, you can use it in MedRite too. You can look up old reports, but only ones you have done. Putting in CCs or looking up doctors is about the easiest I have found of any platform.
Whatever Expander you use, you want them to turn off the MedRite expander or you will have problems. This is the same place they keep normals in the system too, so this may cause you a problem. If they don't supply any normals at all, you will be fine.
Extext will keep up with you better if you are really fast because MedRite is a bit slower than standard Word. If you ever manage to out type what appears on your screen and it lags behind your fingers, you know what I am talking about. I often out typed MedRite's ability to display my work.
All in all, as platforms go, I give this one an A- or a B++. I have used a couple that are easier and run faster between reports, but most are not nearly as good as MedRite.
Best of luck.
