I'm thankful to have a job at all

To my fellow MTs on Thanksgiving Day.  A poem that makes me realize how blessed I am to have a job at all in this economy.  Even if it's not perfect, it's a paycheck.    Hope it touches the heart of all who read it.

BE THANKFUL

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

Thankful MT
And just how many of your wonderkids can actually produce 4000 lines a day?
I'm very thankful (sm)

... and would have just been pleased if they had offered to cover the cost of the test, truthfully!

I work for a small hospital in TX but they are part of a large corporate health system out of FL so that is likely why they offer such a nice increase.

I was very thankful on an above post
I can take critism and welcome it actually but not the way that poster put it. I have asked for help, in above posts...I misspelled something thats fine correct me but not that way...I am extremely swamped with this undertaking..The researching has just begun..I am not going to waste my time if I can't get enough people on board...I know Homeland Security but am looking further into that right now.....HIPAA was an after thought as an idea...I am researching that now...Yes I meant to be snippy to that particular post..You get back what you ask for...See posts above by enlarge I have had a lot of helpful ideas from people..And they are well received and happily received..Perfect is something I never claim to be..
Be thankful. If they hire more you will
stare at nothing on the screen.
I guess be thankful. It's more than I got. nm

Be thankful. If we were perfect like you obviously are, you'd be out of a job. OMG I thought we

I would type it and be thankful I have work.
Eventually you will get good at it. It takes practice. If you start complaining, they may just send you less work.
Oh my gosh, be thankful and learn!
Seriously, since you're fresh out of school and this is your first job, really take the time to learn from Q.A. and don't worry about how long you stay on Q.A. If the QA people are good (as they should be), it's almost like on-the-job training for you, newMT.

Don't beat yourself up over it or second guess your competency. I think all of us here would agree that no matter how long we've been doing MT work, we STILL learn something new just about every day. The fields and specialties (not to mention every doctor's little idiosyncracies, lol!) will take YEARS to get a confident handle on, so don't sweat it.

Welcome to the world of MT and I think the fact you're so conscientious translates into great success for you.

Hang in there, be thankful for a helpful QA team who can help you learn, and don't push yourself too hard/too fast. You're going to be just F-I-N-E.

You will either deal with it or find another job. Be thankful for what you have. Look at the peopl

I'd kill for what you have--- be thankful -- sounds very good to me! - nm
