I grew up poor, but mom always managed something. Times are even harder now. Is there an Angel Tree in a local Wal-Mart or Dollar Store near you? My kids are grown up and I now buy for an angel, as well as my nieces kids, who would otherwise get very little. Does your local Fire/Police Department have any type of assistance? Do you have a local radio station/newspaper you could call? Sometimes there are people out there who would love to help, just don't know who to help. Please try some of these suggestions if available to you. I am so sorry things are so hard for you - life is absolutely totally unfair, especially to the kids. My angels this year were a 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. They seem to be the ones most forgotten. I wish you the best. If you will email me, maybe I can still help. I can't promise much, but I will certainly do what I can.
