I'm QA

Maybe you should go back to MT so you can understand why some of these "dumb" mistakes are made.  Or, you can explain to the rest of us how to make "Smart" mistakes. 

Macros could explain some of these mistakes - when you are beating the keys, it's easy to put in the incorrect macro.  We all zone out sometimes, no matter how conscientious we are, especially towards the end of the shift. 

QA makes mistakes, too.  I work at a medium-sized national and our QA lead has made 2 big mistakes this week, yet never acknowledged either one.  Too bad because we all knew she was wrong and she missed an opportunity to bond wiith us lowly MTs.  We all need a sense of humor in this business and the ability to laugh ourselves, just as we laugh at the dictators' bloopers.
