I do know that Sten-Tel does VR, have you ever looked into that? It might help you with your ulnar neuropathy--hardly any typing at all!!

Hypertype ....
Hypertype is the company I'm considering working for. I type 100+ wpm and know the hospital docs inside out; I'm hoping to earn 'nicely' .. lol ... what do you think 'nicely' should add up to guys? Thanks !

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any info on Hypertype? How is the platform, how are the dictators ( any ESLs), how is the pay? Thank you very much!!
hypertype
Hypertype is based out of Lake George, NY. They have some hospital accounts as well as private doctors. I heard they do not pay well, on the low side, and sometimes you have to wait for your paychecks. I also heard the work is pretty steady. I know some people who have worked for them for years and have no problems and I also know of others who couldn't stand it a month. I guess it depends on the kind of person you are.

Thank you very much for responding to my email :)) .....do you have a lot of ESLs? Do you get the same doctors, or are they all different? I had heard they give you ESLs and like 15 different doctors so you can never get any speed.....??
RE: Hypertype

Yes, there are a few ESL, but they are in the minority.

You should give Hypertype a try...you won't know unless you try! I don't work in the office so I'm not trying to recruit.

I have an ulnar neuropathy and type **slowly** and despite my turtle typing, all the people in the office have been more than fair with me.

I know we have quite a bit of work and thought I would let you guys know.

Re: Hypertype (BTW, they are hiring)

I'm with Hypertype and have for several years. I have never had to wait for a paycheck. I do, hoewever,  agree that the pay is on the low side.  But, on the other hand, I have never been without work.  (Hey, does anyone know what this green smiley stands for?)

I don't know if I can post Hypertype's phone number on this board or not....?

BTW, Hypertype DOES NOT outsource!!! They are ****totally**** against it!
