How many kbps for VR?

I hope that someone on this board does know because I am not sure who else to ask except the MTs that work with VR software.

As for speed it is supposed to be about 400-700 kbps - sm
which is 10x faster or more than what I have now (44 kbps if I am lucky with my dialup). If this works, I should be able to up my income by at least half I think which will more than pay for the monthly charge, and finally get my income over $20K a year; dialup makes it hard to earn a decent salary.
