How about Scrubs?

Posted By: I can't figure out when/if the new season start on 2006-09-29

I keep seeing it advertised on a couple of other stations other than NBC.  I'm thinking they are reruns though.  I really enjoyed that show.  Even after going to their website I am confused about when/where to watch it and if they are new episodes or not.  Anyone have a clue?

Scrubs?
Did the previous poster ever receive any feedback as to where to get MT scrubs? I can't seem to get back to that page. How do we get to the pages from earlier in the week. Thanks!

I shop at thrift stores. I have several darling sets of scrubs I wear around the house for little price. I am going to donate them to my Doctor's office girls soon. They are in excellent condition.

Thank you all for your responses. I am wondering if I have found as close as I am going to get? I went to www.logosoftwear.com . Then I selected "Instant Embroidery Logos". Then I scrolled down the page to the different types of embroidery and select "Occupational". In this section, there is a logo, LGO193, of a computer operator who it seems is wearing a headset? Is this maybe as close as we can get? Let me know what you think! Thanks! Gussie

Hi Sandy, I agree it's not the greatest, but I haven't found anything better yet either. Sigh!
Any WAH MTs wear scrubs?

I'm tired of wearing out my jeans (not to mention that they aren't that comfortable to sit in all day) and want to be more professional than working in sweats -- I used to work in Medical Records and wore scrubs, and I loved them.

Hubby caught me surfing ebay for scrubs and laughed at me -- he didn't see why I would wear a uniform if I didn't have to, but the way I see it -- it makes me feel more professional and is a comfortable and effortless solution that is better than bathrobes and slippers.  Am I crazy or silly for wearing a uniform to work when I work in my dining room?

Any other scrub-wearing MTs out there?

Scrubs and crocs. Luv em. nm

Trashed my scrubs the day I left
my job at a doctor's office, kind of a celebration ritual! Work in PJs 1 hour or so early am (right out of the bed so very unkempt) then dress for the day, then work evenings through to 1:00 am, so PJs work best for me. Most days try not to stay in the PJs all day long though. When my ex-employer and coworkers ask if I might want to return to the office, all I say is "Can I work here in my jammies???"
$62.50/every two weeks gets me top-to-bottom scrubs of three bathrooms, polishing of - sm

1200 sq ft of hardwood floors, dusting and vacuuming of four bedrooms and living room.  I type while she's cleaning and make $50/hour, and I pay her $25/hour.  Love her!

Never thought of wearing scrubs, but if you're comfy, sm

that's all that matters.  I did the heels and hose thing for over 20 years when I worked in an office and/or hospital, now my "uniform" consists of a t-shirt and shorts until it gets really cold, then I begrudgingly give up my shorts and go with sweat pants, although not the kind with the elastic at the ankle ... hate those.  I'm tall, so usually most pants end up looking like capri pants anyway, so guess I should just cave in and buy capris.

A lot of people think because I work at home, I sit in jammies all day, but that idea doesn't even appeal to me.  Plus, first thing in the morning, I have to walk my doggie, and I really do not think the neighbors need or want to see me walking around in my PJs.  But it is a personal choice ... if jammies or scrubs or even typing in the nude make you happy and productive, I say go for it.  :-)

My professionalism is not determined by what I wear.  The UPS or Fed Ex guy would probably fall over dead if I answered the door in heels and pearls.  :-)   But they both comment on how happy I always seem, and that must be a reflection of my love for my job and the comfort of being in the environment I choose to create for myself.  :-)

Yikes .. this was supposed to be a short little post supporting the lady who wanted to wear scrubs.  Guess it's not only the docs I type for who are long-winded ... oops!

Happy Saturday everyone!

Can buy scrubs anywhere and then take them to a local T-shirt/banner monogramming place. nm
