Homemade meatball subs (quick and easy).

Now that I can use the oven again without heating up the house. I had a sweater on until noon today. And socks! Nice relief from 90's and sticky humidity.
I love doing meatball subs, because everyone just helps themselves. Sometimes required when you're behind deadline. :) I just buy ready made meatballs, dump them in a baking pan, pour 2 jars of pizza sauce on top and bake at 350 for about an hour. When the buzzer goes off hubby and kids grab a sub roll, put the stuff in and top it with shredded mozarella.
I get my work done and everyone is happy. (I hate meatball subs).

Quick and easy.
I e-mailed my letter. Already written, just sign at the bottom and send. It said 109 Ohioans had sent the letter. Everyone needs to take a minute to do this!
Quick and easy last minute cleaning trick
Clean those vent covers from heaters, etc. the easy way. Put an old towel on the floor or beneath the vent to catch drips. Put hot water and your favorite cleaner (I use Fantastic because it really cuts the grease and grime fast) in a small bowl or pan. Take a medium to large paint brush and brush the cleaning solution over the slats in the ventilator covers. I do a quick brush over the whole thing first, then go back and start at top and work down. It will remove all the grime and gunk. Blot with a towel (real or paper). You do not need to remove the vent cover to do this. No need to rinse unless you use soapy solution.
Chicken In Wine Sauce (Easy and Quick)
Melt about 6 TBLSP butter in skillet. Sprinkle boneless, skinless chicken breasts with garlic salt and any other seasonings that you like, dust in flour and brown in butter for about 5 minutes or so, just till a little brown (to your liking). Put together 1/2 cup white cooking wine, 2 teaspoons roasted chopped garlic (I buy it already chopped), 2 TBLSP lemon juice (I use bottled Real Lemon), and 2 TBLSP dried parsley. Fresh is good too but I just never have it around. Dump this on the chicken in the skillet and put a lid on it and simmer for 6 minutes. Throw a bag of precooked microwave rice in the microwave, plop some on the plate, put the chicken on top and spoon some sauce over it. Very tasty and ready in less than 30 minutes. My kind of dinner !!! If you use more than about 4 pieces of chicken breast increase the butter to 8 TBLSP. I am sure that Parkay (or whatever) would work just as well but I use butter and be done with it. I usually have broccoli or some other green veggie and a salad with it. I use my Breadman a lot so I usually have hot rolls as well.
Have you looked into Express scribe? That is what I use for my Wav, and it is quick and easy. sm
I don't know if this is compatible with all pedals, but maybe it will help.

Off to the right there is a button for downloading the software.
Rehab is easy, some muscle names might get you at first but you will learn quick - sm
I first started on PT, good way to start when you are green. Loved it, simple and good lines.
ShortHand is quick and easy. You can turn off the popup window,
but it is small and barely shows. It just reminds you what is about to play out, which can be helpful for me. Say I wanted to have copd change to COPD, so I have it in there that way. But then I add it as copdj to have it play out in full. If I can't remember if I did it that way, I can look down at the box before I hit space or punctuation and see which way is going to play out.
We're having chili and grilled cheese sandwiches, quick and easy!

Are your subs American?
Or are they newbies. Otherwise, how do you negotiate a rate that makes it feasible for you and the MT?
My subs are always American. sm
I have had resumes that are obviously from out of the country and I think if the resume is obviously bad, the work won't be better.
It's easier for me to use a sub with some experience but a newbie is fine. I decide what I think I can afford to pay somebody and they decide if that's enough for them. I think every IC has to decide what she can afford to pay out. I don't know if there's some formula out there.
As an MTSO, I am always touched when my subs send me
No gift is needed.
It probably depends on whether the office is aware that you have subs.
If they think you are doing the work yourself, naturally they would be upset to learn that you allowed others to do it.
Homemade is just better!
There sure aren't many of us around Nature Girl!! I'm 41 and most of the people my age have no idea how to can or freeze things. I brought in salsa once to work and there had been this article about botulism in the newspaper and a couple of people were very hesitant about trying my salsa. I asked them if they thought that I would put my 4-year-old at risk and yes I do pressure cook at the correct temp for the correct time!! Hear that POP. I haven't been able to do as much as I'd like with my daughter being young, and working 2 part-time jobs, but always have to do a large variety of jellies and jams for Christmas gifts - the relatives pout if I don't because store bought definitely is not the same!! Will be drying apple chips this weekend and making applesauce and applebutter. The husband and his brothers own a 5,000 acre farm so I am spoiled with the veggies and I have a large garden. My dream someday is to put in a small orchard. In all my free time....

homemade stromboli..
he has already requested that for tonight.. he even went and bought the groceries for it! So, I guess that's it for me!
I don't do homemade anymore
Being single, its just easier nowadays to buy chili, the fritos and cheese. One thing I NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy (or made) chili with beans .... el yucko!!!!
homemade soup
I keep the best leftovers in the deep freeze to make soup. Tonight's soup has veggies, including lima beans, a wonderful chicken stock, and some diced up london broil and potatoes cut very fine to thicken the soup. All these leftovers in the soup bring back memories of meals gone by! I just throw it all in the crockpot and let it do its thing.
we're doing homemade BBQ...sm
chips, slaw, potato salad, and drinks. Ice cream for dessert and fruit. Easy and delicious...
Homemade Chex party mix!
Made with real butter, lots of peanuts, Cheese-its or Goldfish. Rice and/or corn chex or Crispix; none of those nasty wheat chex. Used to mix up a batch and sit and type and and eat and then graze on it throughout the day
Good for you for homemade gifts
I at least try to make my cards each year. It's nice to put a little homemade into the holidays. By the way, I'm done.
Homemade stilts. We had a ball with these. sm
The ice cream truck used to make multiple trips around the block just to watch us.
greet him with a homemade welcome home
And if he has anything that he is craving that you bake have it ready in the car! I'm sure he's probably missing some kinda food from home after being gone so long.
That is so exciting... and after a year, wow! I am happy for you. Have an awesome reunion!!!
Some jar sauce is as good as homemade...
I make my own sauce usually, but when I'm not in the mood there are some that surprisingly are just as good as homemade. They are the more expensive ones, Rao's, Victoria, Patsy's, Vincent's. Jar sauce has come a long way! But the less expensive like Prego, Ragu, and even Classico etc., I find are just too sweet. Easy recipe..A couple of jars of Victoria or other better-brand Fra Diavolo sauce. Cook on stove in medium pot on medium heat until hot but not boiling. Throw in a bunch of medium or large size RAW peeled shrimp with tails removed! (I often use the raw frozen in the bag - thawed) and continue cooking/stirring until shrimp turns orange and appears done. Spoon over pasta and top with S&P if you like and lots of grated romano/parmesan cheese. Squisito!
Homemade chicken noodle soup

Well, Word is easy to buy and easy to install. Word 97 works great. Cheap. SM
I still would not work anywhere I could not use a spell checker with grammar checker and a Steadman's Medical Spell Checker.
IF they want people to TRANSCRIBE MEDICAL REPORTS, then I guess they better get the programs they need.
It's like probably 110% easier to buy and install Word 97 than to try to program their own programming. And, yes, I do mean Microsoft Word 97. Why? Because you can install it unlimited times, in case you need to install the operating system again. And it has a few features that Microsoft, in its un-wisdom, took away in Word 2000 and 20003 and 2007. So, yes, I'd go with Word 97 for its cheapness and it works better than the later versions. Just my opinion, with 20 years experience being an MT. So what if they "don't have it" on their computer? It's easy to get.
Seafood pasta and olive oil garlic sauce, red leaf salad, homemade bread with sun dried tomato
along with a big glass of white wine. MMMMMM
Easy easy money they are!
I don't mind seeing those puppies filter in at all. Same for H&Ps. They are always different though, so can't really pop in the same pre-formatted autotext, but it's usually WHAMMO 2-3 pages at a time. Give them a shot...you may just be pleasantly surprised!
I think I smell either VR on the easy stuff, or offshoring of the easy stuff.

NEED HELP QUICK.....
I had to unplug my Infinity foot pedal from its USB port today and now my computer will not recognize it. I had this problem once before and I cannot remember how I fixed it. Finally I have some work and now the pedal won't work. HELP ME PLEASE.....thanks a lot.
I only use the Quick Look because...
the company bought it for me. I like it but it's gettin' old (2005) and missing a lot of new drugs. I sure could use an update or something, so I'll be paying attention to the thread you've started here as well.
need help quick!
Suddenly my enter button is acting as a spacebar and not a return key! What do I do?
quick look
I bought the new version and found that I liked the old 2005 version that I had, because of the wild card function in the search. The newer one didn't have it. I just reinstalled the old one and add any new drugs as I find them through my daily work. Unfortunately, it now has a glitch that keeps me from opening the information about the drug in the index without locking up. At first I would close and come back in so that it would show, but I discovered that it would also work if you go into the appendix screens (any) before doing a search or using the index list. I like using the drug reference because it clearly lists the dosages and uses for each drug, and is quick to use. Since my account doesn't use a lot of brand new drugs it works fine for me this way.
A quick ?
Hello everyone, I am new to this board and just have a really quick question that I would like someone to answer please. On the MT job openings page when you click on an opening and in the employers description of the job they say to reply to and email address and then they list the address. However each job opening has a "apply now" tab at the bottom. Doesn't it just email your resume when you click that and submit it? You don't also have to copy the employers email address and then sign into your email and send a message to them that way too do you? Thank you,
Travis

Quick question for you, please?
Thank you for your advice. I just need to take it!!
But my question remains, perhaps I did overstep bounds by voicing my concerns for his depression and mentioning that his brother had also noticed it. He says I have betrayed him. What would you have done in this situation?
quick way to remember
Think of the Romans performing a play, like Julius Caesar....The ROMANS are on the STAGE.
Too quick on the buttons there.
Don't sign it. It sounds as if they have a pending lawsuit and are trying to make sure no one else joins in. If they call you about it, tell them you sent it over to your attorney to evaluate it. LOL It's NOT standard procedure. You don't have to sign it.
The one I got had nothing to do with age discrimination, but it was a similar type of Hold Harmless document.
quick change tip
I haven't tried this yet (our office isn't on the one space thing.. yet), but I wrote down this tip that was posted last time this issue was brought up: At the end of the report hit Ctr-Shft F, 2 spaces, tab, 1 space, Alta A to fix. It should switch all your double spaces to single spaces without having to remember to change the way you've been typing for 20 years.
