I have an aloe plant
I think I'll try some out. Thanks for the tip!
They laid off over 200 people at the plant
near me. I'm sure there have been layoffs elsewhere. I'd say that is the problem not waiting on parts. When they opened the new plant here one of the requirements was that all suppliers had to be within 30 minutes of Dell.
Tell anyone who will listen. Plant the seeds of worry in your own - sm
physician, HMO, or whatever, that you and others don't want ANY of your personal or medical info. going offshore. Ask who transcribes their work. If they say they don't know, raise your eyebrows and ask WHY they don't know. If a record is important enough to be in a patient's chart, or even be dictated, it's a document that could end up in court someday. They might want to stack the odds in their favor by at the very least having accurate, intelligible documents. Ask how you can get copies of your own medical records. (Probably the Med.Records Dept. of that facility). Call them. Ask for your own copies. Go over them with a fine-toothed comb. Scream bloody murder to the MR Dept. and your doctor if there are ANY mistakes. Ask MR for the name of the company that does the transcription. If they don't know, asy WHY they don't know. (They probabaly DO know). Do some detective work and find out if that company offshores. If it does, and the doc or MR Dept. told you that facility NEVER offshores, then tell them they better rethink that.
Aloe is amazing. I should grow it as a window plant, it's
Had cottonwoods. Be careful not to plant close to house
with the water lines. They are supposed to be pasture trees but they make for quick landscaping. The branches were weak and broke after here and there and one was too close to house. Had to put in a herbicidal strip of some kind to kill it before the root lifted up the kitchen floor.
Anyone ever plant hybrid poplar trees? They are those fast grow ones
that are supposed to grow 8 feet a year. Some claim they send up too many "sucker" shoots from the root areas, some love em. I need a wind break on the N. and W. sides of my lot, and was thinking of these. Anybody ever plant these?
You're supposed to plant them in beds and line the bed with chicken wire and then place the bulbs
on top of the wire and cover. This keeps the critters from getting to them, but is a lot of work.
Mom-CMT..when you get those cookies done
how bout sharing them around here LOL...heck at this point, I'll take the ones that don't have any shape. Sounds good!
cookies
Thanks for the info. Will try the chilling, as I am not at a high altitude. Sure would like to make some pretty sugar cookies and gingerbread men!
You take cookies?????
Gee, does your doctor bake you cookies when you make an appointment with him? What about your attorney, your accountant, your plumber, and your carpenter?
Baking cookies, to me, is so totally unprofessional. I would NEVER do that. It's almost comical, as a matter of fact.
My cookies do not keep my accounts for me
Gee thanks a lot, guess it is my cookies that do my 35,000 to 40,000 lines per month for my accounts. All I do is that if they respond to my brochure, express interest or talk with me I swing by with a plate of cookies to say "thank you" or if it is an account I really would like I swing by with a plate of cookies with a brochure and more times than not at least the brochure will make it to the manager's desk. It is the same as giving out pens with your business name on it. Again I stress, if I did not do a decent job I could not have stayed in this business as a MTSO for 18 years, support myself, own a home and have a half way personal retirement fund set up. Guess I will put on my tombstone, "I owe my success to my cookies". And really my flyer is a brochure.
I received cookies
I received cookies from an MT company I know longer work for and of course nothing from the ones I do work for!!
Not sure what you are looking for. Deleting cookies
should take about 30 seconds.
Did you clear your cookies? nm
cleared the cookies
x
call me when the cookies are ready
and pour me some warm milk!
She wasn't asking how to delete cookies, she was going
to be instructing people on how to do it.
Homemade is just better!
There sure aren't many of us around Nature Girl!! I'm 41 and most of the people my age have no idea how to can or freeze things. I brought in salsa once to work and there had been this article about botulism in the newspaper and a couple of people were very hesitant about trying my salsa. I asked them if they thought that I would put my 4-year-old at risk and yes I do pressure cook at the correct temp for the correct time!! Hear that POP. I haven't been able to do as much as I'd like with my daughter being young, and working 2 part-time jobs, but always have to do a large variety of jellies and jams for Christmas gifts - the relatives pout if I don't because store bought definitely is not the same!! Will be drying apple chips this weekend and making applesauce and applebutter. The husband and his brothers own a 5,000 acre farm so I am spoiled with the veggies and I have a large garden. My dream someday is to put in a small orchard. In all my free time....
Homemade sav???
He is treating his wound with a homemade sav. I cannot find "sav" anywhere. It sav, sauve??? I know its like a lotion but I'm not sure how to spell it. Thanks!
Cookies! Uhm, well, now I do have some cookie dough in the fridge!
Perhaps I should dollop a few out and bake'em and eat'em while they are hot with some cold milk before bed?!?! Then, I can fall asleep as my blood sugar plummets to new lows! ROFL
No, don't read those posts. It's irritating! Who wants to be irritated?! NOT ME!! LOL
Be sure to keep the temp files and cookies cleaned
defrag often.
Just got back from a booth sale for GS Cookies - sm
been doing that for the last 3 Saturdays....working some now....will do the rest tomorrown. Have an easy weekend as I only took on about 40 minutes of dictation and my own acct. did not upload any work Friday though I will pay for that on Monday. Plan to clean out my older daughter's closet tomorrow and organize their close (i.e. remove all the stuff too small from one kid and give to the other while removing some of hers as well)...very time consuming and desperately needs doing.
homemade stromboli..
he has already requested that for tonight.. he even went and bought the groceries for it! So, I guess that's it for me!
I don't do homemade anymore
Being single, its just easier nowadays to buy chili, the fritos and cheese. One thing I NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy (or made) chili with beans .... el yucko!!!!
homemade soup
I keep the best leftovers in the deep freeze to make soup. Tonight's soup has veggies, including lima beans, a wonderful chicken stock, and some diced up london broil and potatoes cut very fine to thicken the soup. All these leftovers in the soup bring back memories of meals gone by! I just throw it all in the crockpot and let it do its thing.
we're doing homemade BBQ...sm
chips, slaw, potato salad, and drinks. Ice cream for dessert and fruit. Easy and delicious...
My daughter's Brownie Troop is sending GS Cookies - sm
A few people in the troop know people in Iraq and the soldiers they know said they don't care if any melt.....of course we are not sending all mints, or all chocolate ones but a mixture. Needless to say I am sure they will all be gone in 10 minutes!
deleting cookies-go to TOOLS, internet options
Once you get to internet options from TOOLS at the top of your browser, you have a radio button to delete cookies, one to delete history, one to delete online files and then offline files - that is how you delete the cookies AND the cache/memory/history.
Is that what you need to know? Hope that helped!!
Homemade Chex party mix!
Made with real butter, lots of peanuts, Cheese-its or Goldfish. Rice and/or corn chex or Crispix; none of those nasty wheat chex. Used to mix up a batch and sit and type and and eat and then graze on it throughout the day
Good for you for homemade gifts
I at least try to make my cards each year. It's nice to put a little homemade into the holidays. By the way, I'm done.
Homemade stilts. We had a ball with these. sm
The ice cream truck used to make multiple trips around the block just to watch us.
greet him with a homemade welcome home
And if he has anything that he is craving that you bake have it ready in the car! I'm sure he's probably missing some kinda food from home after being gone so long.
That is so exciting... and after a year, wow! I am happy for you. Have an awesome reunion!!!
Some jar sauce is as good as homemade...
I make my own sauce usually, but when I'm not in the mood there are some that surprisingly are just as good as homemade. They are the more expensive ones, Rao's, Victoria, Patsy's, Vincent's. Jar sauce has come a long way! But the less expensive like Prego, Ragu, and even Classico etc., I find are just too sweet. Easy recipe..A couple of jars of Victoria or other better-brand Fra Diavolo sauce. Cook on stove in medium pot on medium heat until hot but not boiling. Throw in a bunch of medium or large size RAW peeled shrimp with tails removed! (I often use the raw frozen in the bag - thawed) and continue cooking/stirring until shrimp turns orange and appears done. Spoon over pasta and top with S&P if you like and lots of grated romano/parmesan cheese. Squisito!
Now I cant see the different broads again. Everytime I clean out my cookies and offline files I cant
get in the different boards. Any suggestions. They are gone again.

Just wondering if that's a weird thing to do or not.
My sister makes Clipper Ship Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Milk chocolate chips, sometimes toasted pecans, and varies between Grand Marnier or sometimes Amaretto in them!
Oooooooooo!!!! Large cookies, and fresh baked with a glass of super cold milk!
Now my mouth is watering! LOL
I'm having a homemade roast beef sub and chips for lunch.
DH can probably BBQ hot dogs and burgers for dinner because I don't feel like cooking.
Homemade meatball subs (quick and easy).
Now that I can use the oven again without heating up the house. I had a sweater on until noon today. And socks! Nice relief from 90's and sticky humidity.
I love doing meatball subs, because everyone just helps themselves. Sometimes required when you're behind deadline. :) I just buy ready made meatballs, dump them in a baking pan, pour 2 jars of pizza sauce on top and bake at 350 for about an hour. When the buzzer goes off hubby and kids grab a sub roll, put the stuff in and top it with shredded mozarella.
I get my work done and everyone is happy. (I hate meatball subs).
homemade potato soup, cornbread, and just finished
How nice is this keyboard? Nice light touch?
I have a regular Microsoft ergonomic one now but I'm thinking I should probably get a replacement and use mine as a backup.
Homemade super nachos with a huge garden salad.
Ugh, I just spent hours in the hot sun picking peas, lettuce, beans, onions, and zucchini. Now we have to eat it all.
My favorite gifts over the years were the homemade ones - congrats for having the energy

I was nice today, and people were nice to me.
