Super Hint
Unless you need a microphone attached, I would suggest Dictaphone earphones. They hae excellent sound quality. Also...if you have extra noise from your speakers, plug right into your PC and a lot of that noise will disappear. That works with any headphones.

Just a hint....people are not likely to
read your posts when you sign your name as 'nm'. On these boards that generally means 'no message' so people skip over them.

KT, is there any way you could give us a hint as to who this company is
If this company has a recruiter like this pushing and pushing to do interviews and hire people and then pulls out, I do not think any of us would want to work for that company for fear of what happened to you. I truly sympathize with what happened to you. Although I do not have kids, I too need to work just to pay bills, keep a roof over my head, etc. To work for a company like this would make me hesitant about job security.

I do hope you will consider maybe telling us who this was. I also want to say that I admire the fact that you didn't bash the company or the recruiter, unlike so many people on this board do.
