Right, people do not move to a certain place to receive lower wages -- I mentioned specifically that MANUFACTURING companies will go to a region where the averages for MANUFACTURING are less, this has nothing to do with how pretty,desirable, affluent, etc. lots, lots, and lots of places in the South are.....just looking at statistical numbers and why someone might expect more in one region than another. Sadly, we ARE outpriced here, and I would rather be paying less for housing, utilities, etc.......when anyone looks for a pay average and come up with reasonable, fair numbers, taking into account the nature of the work, job experience, the REGIONAL averages, as well as the NATIONAL averages, all gets figured in ... not how pretty and nice that region is. And yes, I HAVE lived in the South, travelled there, and as I stated, lived out West, too, where I would rather be but where it is even MORE expensive to own beautiful property....I lived in Southern CA. I watched it. I can see where there is concern over this show. The show is portraying the Episcopalian religion. I don't know much about that religion since I am Catholic but it had issues that the Catholic church is against. Characters were Lesbians and gay. There was sex before marriage, there was drugs. The Bishop had an affair with another Bishop who was a woman because is wife has Altsheimers. The mob is going to build a school for the parish. Everytime Bishop Daniel needed guidance Jesus would pop up.

Book of Daniel and loved it!
Just seen the post on the Book of Daniel TV show. We watched it last night and absolutely LOVED it! Quality TV with humor and reality too-Don't get much better than that in my book. If you haven't seen it yet this is a must see! Is on Friday's at 10 I believe.

My gated neighborhood includes physicians, judges and the like so I really don�t think this applies to our low regional averages. Their wages, I am sure, outweigh even my husbands who makes really good for us poor little folks here in the south.

I really had not given it much thought about it until all of the hoopla about it -- now I am curious as to what could possibly be so bad, so I guess I will tune in. It's funny how protests usually end up driving people to see the thing they are telling them NOT to see. Hmmm ....
