Here, here!

I hear you loud and clear. I fell into a depression after working at home for several years and was also let go for lack of production. I just wanted to sleep all the time instead of work. It's the isolation, I know. I have elderly cats who are so used to me working at home that I'm kind of afraid to work in-house again, but if I can work evenings while my husband works days, there will always be someone here in case of kitty emergency! I do hear you, though, loud and clear. The isolation and lack of socialization (that a person gets at work, even if you don't it until long afterward- in spite of office politics) is killing me! I never realized how much I enjoy the people I have worked with in the past. Perhaps it's time for me to try for an in-house position. Hang in there and do what you feel is best for you in your heart. It will surely be the right choice, even if it's scary at first. Best of luck from a kindred spirit.
