For a great web site - try slimfast.com - The recipes are fast and easy -- congrats on trying to
eat healthy - it's hard for me cause I love burgers and fries, so I still cheat every once in a while --
Use less salt than directed in the recipes. Try the powdered milk hot chocolate recipes! Yummy :-)

This is a great resource (see link)
Great link - a must read!
It pretty much answers all questions as to what is the norm for the industry.
This is the first time in my life I've made this much money - working 10 hour days, 5 days a week. I have no idea how long the opportunity to do it will continue, but I was really surprised to see how few pass the 40k mark, and now I know I'm extremely fortunate and should definitely not take it for granted.
Take him with you. He's already attached to you. sm
He'll be heartbroken if you leave him. Once you are at the new place, don't let him outside loose as he will probably run away and in strange surroundings will be unable to find his way back home. It is too dangerous for cats loose outdoors anyway. Cars, nasty people who like to hurt cats, coyotes, big hawks. Uh, uh. He's safer inside. It will take him awhile to get adjusted to his new home. You'll just have to put up with his crying to get out. He'll stop that eventually. You can use a halter and walk him on a leash once you check out the neighborhood yourself to be sure no dogs are going to jump on him. FosterSmith even has the "kittywalk" items including a little cart on wheels you can roll him around the neighborhood in. I have the kittywalks tunnels on my deck for my indoor cats, and they love it in the summertime. Good luck.
They probably get attached just like us
You know how we get so attached to them. I imagine that the judges and Ryan have their certain picks too. It would have to be hard not to. I know they can't broadcast their favorites like we do though. I remember Ryan seemed to sort of have Lisa Tucker "under his wing" too. He seemed very protective of her, especially when she was voted off. As much as I love Taylor, I still really liked Elliott because of his great attitude and the relationship with his mom. I liked Katherine okay too until last night I kind of got turned off by several things. SOUL PATROL!
Well, was supposed to be attached..sm

I think this has viruses attached to it. sm
Plus, you need to beware. Stedmans is not free, you have to pay no matter what version you get.
un- attached chest port?
My son has a chest port. He can lift up three corners of the port, make a pocket out of loose skin and slid his thumb under the port. He says the port is supposed to float freely within a tissue pocket created in his chest. It is his belief the port is Not sutured to anything inside him, like, say, the chest wall for example. Hmmmm! I am seeking outside opinions as he and I disagree. Please let me know what you think.

Question |
I get an attachment that is called winmail.dat but I can't open it. What can I do?
|
Problem |
When someone uses Microsoft Outlook to send messages through the Internet with attachments and they use the Microsoft Outlook Rich Text format, some recipients report that the message includes an additional file called the Winmail.dat file. The Winmail.dat file is usually very small, but you cannot open it in the message. The original message attachment is not always separate from the Winmail.dat file attachment, and may be included in the Winmail.dat file attachment.
This problem occurs because the Winmail.dat file is used to preserve formatting that the sending client includes in the message, but the receiving client does not recognize the Winmail.dat file. In Outlook, the Winmail.dat file includes Rich Text Formatting (RTF) instructions. This type of formatting is used with the Microsoft Outlook Rich Text format and when you use Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor. Only other Outlook users can read the attachments.
|
Resolution |
To resolve this problem the person sending the attachments with Outlook needs to do the following:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options and then click Mail Format. 2. In Compose in this message format, click to select Plain Text, and then click OK.

First, a prepaired debit card is not attached to your bank at all. SM
It is a separate account set up for use with your prepaid debit card only. No checks. No bank. And with the prepaid card, they cannot withdraw money without your prior authorization. Your employer can only deposit money if your employer provides a signed DD form with your signature on it.
I've never had any problems with my card. I feel pretty secure. I do pay bills with my card, but rather than authorize a recurring monthly charge (which you can do), I opt to manually get on the money card website and pay each bill, each month. So consider this. Once you authorize a recurring bill payment, it sometimes takes an act of God to stop it.
PS! Also watch out for people who leave things attached to your doorknob -
I'm sitting right here in the front room (drapes usually drawn where I sit), and I not only hear them come up to leave stuff on the door, I ALSO hear them try the knob to see if it's unlocked. Pretty darned creepy how many low-lifes and predators there are out there.....
b, there are a lot of recipes on the
Holiday/Recipe board on ForuMatrix or at hometalkcafe.com, both of which are owned by MTStars.
Thanks to all for recipes.
I will try them all.

well since I am in PA and just about wet all over and working too - I am doing it easy - ribs in a slow cooker, with 2 cups ketchup and 2 cups dr. pepper - very very good and can let me have the day to do other things - Besides we are expecting rain again.

Here's a link to a focaccia bread recipe. I've never tried it, because I bought this from a bread store this morning. The loaf I bought has onion, spinach, garlic, sundried tomato, parmesan cheese, and herbs on top.

Jerk seasoning can be used on most meats. You can buy sauces or make your own rub. Look for either Caribbean or Jamaican jerk. KC Masterpiece makes a good spiced Caribbean jerk marinade. It's got molasses, soy sauce, onion, garlic, spices, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, red pepper, hot pepper, and pineapple puree.

Easter recipes sm
It is very difficult for me because my children married different faiths and it used to be that we (before they married) would go to church and then to a restaurant (our favorite) as a special treat for family style soup, salad and main course. Of course, the "new" family had to kill this plan since the other side did not like our Church. Too bad. I started to cook brunch after service which included: Coffee or tea, lots of different juices, bacon, ham (spiral), fried potatoes (home fries), waffles (finally woke up to buying prepared and frozen), lots of syrup, butter, fresh strawberries and blueberries, some favorites of the grandchildren (one liked cantaloupe, another's favorite was my homemade sugar cookies, another liked my peanut butter cookies). I cook for days but it's worth it. Know how I got rewarded? The "other" moms got so jealous, they started to offer "brunch" instead of the traditional dinner (ham and all the trimmings, sit-down style).. I was frustrated at this, but I still try. Why don't people realize that "life is temporary" - whatever works for you. Since someone "stole" my brunch idea, I offer nice foods still, at whatever time their schedule (allows) them to show up; not necessarily breakfast, but some rented "childrens movies" with no pressure. As long as we build it, they will come. However, my brunch was sooooo popular, I'm glad someone "stole" it from me. It's kind of like having MT account "stolen" from you, it's not the same quality, but you have to realize that copying you is a true compliment and you should enjoy it. BTW (by the way) I have a bit of Polish in me, so I thoroughly enjoyed the kielbasa aspect of Easter, I slice it up and cook it first in a little water to get rid of the grease. Then I recook it using currant jelly and slice it, put wooden toothpicks in there and let them munch. Easter should be fun, no matter what religion you are in or out of, "He" would just like you to have fun on His special day, or more especially a family day, never mind what you believe in or choose not to believe in. It's a fun day!!!
Thanks for the recipes. They sound
great.
Strawberry recipes : )

There are some good crockpot recipes out there, especially
if it's hot and you don't want to use the oven. I do a "golfer's special". Line a cake pan with tin foil, put the roast in, and add cut up carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery. Sprinkle it with onion soup mix or beef gravy mix, close the foil, then bake until done. It can also be done in the crockpot.
You can cube your roast to make shish kebabs slathered in BBQ or some other bold tasting sauce. Skewer new potatoes, onions, mushrooms, squash, red peppers, and whatever other veggies you like.
You can cut up the roast either before or after cooking, stick it in the crockpot with some beef broth, let it cook all day, then serve as French dip sandwiches on steak rolls with au jus. Fries, salad, or chips on the side.
Sometimes I just sit here and Google for recipes when I'm bored and can't think of what to cook for dinner. Type "rump roast recipe" on Google without quotes to see what else comes up. You can narrow your search by adding "BBQ" or "crockpot".
would you mind sharing some of your recipes?

there's more info on how MTs feel about their companies than recipes/fav songs.
Besides I wouldn't come to this board to learn what some cranky MTs favorite song is. I'm here to dish the dirt about the companies who control the MTs.

Paula Deen is fabulous! I love her recipes and

Just simple cheese and crackers and cut up vegetables with dip and/or chips and dip are easy and will go with whatever else you might make. Have fun!

Great post. I swear by both Advantage and Frontline Plus-- both work great! - sm
I don't know about "natural" approaches for the house. I have always used flea bombs in the past before the miracle of Advantage and Frontline changed my life. Have not had a flea problem at all since I began using those products about 10 years ago, dose all the dogs religiously once a month with the Frontline Plus except in Dec.-Feb. to save a few bucks and because the ground is generally frozen by then and no fleas are scurring about. -- Hope you get flea free soon.
I think you forgot the link? I don't see a link

I think I found it, found multiple recipes with the same
