Anyone willing to share their contract ideas?
Hey, All ~
I was wondering if there was anyone out there was was willing to share their contract verbiage for YOUR contract that your MTSO signed. There was a wonderful lady who emailed me with some great ideas, but understandably she was not willing to share her contract verbiage because she had paid a lawyer to draft it. I totally understand that! I was just wondering if there was anyone who had drafted their own who would share with me (identifying info could be removed, of course)
I would have money to pay a lawyer if my rackin' frackin' MTSO would pay me, but I'm still without the paycheck I was due on Monday! Anyone who has done this themselves and who would be willing to share, PLEEEEEEASE email me with it and I will be beside myself with thankfulness.
<--- See! This is me being beside myself with thankfulness!
Very good ideas! Thanks for taking the time to share.
ROFL - do folks eat it vertically??? *ROFL..nm
Congrats, girl, and get your share of any money that you share before he wipes you out. nm

100K
I agree!
I could only wish
Are you saying that you earn 100k
NM
I would say if you have to make $100k at something
Yes, there might come a day where you could make that money in MT. However, it's not going to happen overnight and certainly not at 8 cpl.
100K is pretty much out of the question
Assuming you work 40 hours, which is 2112 hours per year, divided into 100K is over $47 per hour. You would have to type 580+ lines per hour to average this, which is not likely.
100K was mentioned in post below
by "Pollster".
Now you know why a lot of chefs make $75,000-100k a year!
It will be interesting to see the final episode tonight.
Right. You would have to be sicko to make $100K a year on 8 cpl.

Share, share, I've been looking for some time...sm
sending out resumes gallor, have great experience, but they sound like clones of each other in what they offer, yet what they want is it all!!! I'm so discouraged, in the depression boat myself! They want you to commit to FT, new equip, DSL, on and on!!!
Can someone please tell me how these folks who are posting making $75-$100K working for services ...
are making this kind of money? I've been in this profession for over 20 years and the MOST that I ever made in a given year was $50K working for a service and that was with loads of off-the-clock overtime. Where I work now the majority of decent work is being offshored and the American side MT's are left with terrible work to wade through. A 'good' check for me now would come out to the equivalent of about $10 an hour!
I can see how folks who have their own accounts could make the type of income range above, but working for a service? What is it that the rest of you now that obviously I'm totally missing???
ROFL!!
and if you toss them a beer every now and then, they'll fall asleep a whole lot faster!

My sis is a flight attendant and loves to spontaneously fly into town for a day THEN call me to see if I can a)pick her up from the airport or b)hang out with her for the day.
And she always does this during the week.
My hubby always tells me, "treat it like a real job"...as if it was a FAKE job. LOL...
ROFL!
I forgot about that aspect of it! We were told in Cincinnati that we should wear anything we want as long as didn't offend the sensitivities of our coworkers. LOL!
Okay HIGH FIVE!! ROFL

ME TOO! ROFL That's why I suggested it!!
Mom's know best, huh?! :)
ROFL! I tried something similar.
I told my boys that they'd have to hug each other, apologize and tell each other three nice things if they were mean to each other. They're such twerps that it didn't work. They'd bearhug each other as hard as they could, sneer sorry, and say something like, "Your breath no longer smells like a camel's backside." I give up.
ROFL! Thanks for the memory.
It was horrible at my last job. The supervisor told us to never, ever touch the thermostat. She'd sit in her office with a heating vent and get too hot, so she'd turn the heat down. My cubicle was by the windows in the winter with subzero temperatures. I was so cold that I had on my winter coat, gloves and a blanket. Then in the summertime, it was too hot with the sun reflecting through the windows. I used to climb up on my desk and change the thermostat anyway. I loved ticking that woman off because she was such a shrew. She was firing any employee who had more than 10 years of service because they were making too much money. She could hire college grads with more technical skills at lower wages. So much for not discriminating against people for their age. The things she wrote them up for were asinine.
...and someone who does not use commas. ROFL! nm.

ROFL at what this MD just dictated...sm
NEUROLOGIC: He does have diminished memory. I did start him on Aricept for this last year, but he has forgotten to take it.

Oh, heck, YES!!!
It's always feast or famine around here. One week, I'll be sitting on my thumbs stressing about bills and not enough work. The next week, everyone dumps so much on me that I'm working double shifts. Why can't it be regular instead of sporadic? Then again, I do rather like those unexpected days off and not being chained to a desk during certain hours like with the nationals. I work when I want to as long as I meet TAT.
Do you really want to work 10-12 hours a day? And you know that some days it will be 6 hours and some days 18 hours because it is truly feast or famine. I took on a third IC job recently because things were so slow for weeks with my other two. The other two must have heard me accept the third job because I got dumped on. I wound up wigging out and quitting the third position. I feel really bad about leaving her in the lurch, but holy cow! A human body can only take so much of this.
I don't see the little sleep deprived icon with cramped up fingers and pedal foot. Owie. I'm just not going to gripe about not getting much sleep or time off. Work is good. Being unemployed is bad.
Do the local docs pay more than the national? And their workload is a lot easier, too. You get the same dictators every day saying the same things over and over again so you can use your word expander to the max. Make a list of pros and cons and see which is better.
How the heck did you get that?
Interpretation of my post: I like ESLs not for any other reason other than I LIKE ESLs. Whatever impact that has on those who can't or won't do them is not MY problem.
Oh so thankful to have a job? Sounds to me like you are the one who should be thankful to have a job considering you have a hang-up about doing a majority of what our job description is.
What the heck is CMT?

No way in heck!
Everytime I scroll through the channels and I even see that show for 1 second, I feel like getting a hammer and hitting the wall with it repeatedly. Those women are gross!
What the heck are you looking for?
Most women I know that think men are scum continue to end up with the same type.
It's usually a self-esteem issue on the woman's part which harbors lack of trust and very high expectations concerning the opposite sex.
You need to lower your expectations and give to others as much as you would expect to be given to you.
Only then will you realize that not "all" men are scum, just possibly the ones that you choose to hook up with.
