Have you tried Motrin or Advil for infants? Tylenol never worked well for my babies to bring down fever, pain, etc. Advil/Motrin has the anti-inflammatory in it as well as the pain reliever which seemed to help my boys immensely. I also kept several of those water filled teethers in the refrigerator and switched them out when they weren't cold anymore.
