He doesn't touch Taylor or the other guys but each time Elliott is on stage with him he's hugging and touching him.

POLL PLEASE!!!!! Is it just me, or was Ryan the donkey's butt Seacrist WAAAAY off base when he did a split-screen image of that poor kid (forget his name, the young-looking blond kid with the glasses) with CHICKEN LITTLE????? He was setting him up as a sex symbol and then said Here is your body double ... right at the moment people were supposed to get a last look at the kid and consider their VOTE for him as the American Idol!
So is it just me, or was that just plain humiliating and cruel to the kid? I am wondering ....

Glad there are others who felt the same way -- thanks. Yeah, I pretty much feel Simon is right on the money and he actually does the contestants a favor by telling them the way the real life agents and producers view them, as opposed to touchy feely relatives see them. I see Paula and Randy, nice as they are, as "damage control" to the opinions expressed by Simon, which are what the contestants need to hear and heed anyway. The other two just lighten the blow and make Simon's medicine easier to swallow.
Oh, and did anyone see Kathy Griffin's special "I Am Not Nicole Kidman" when she relays the story of what Ryan J.A. Seacrist did to her on NATIONAL TELEVISION in front of a LIVE audience at an awards ceremony? Wow. Ever since then, Seacrist has been pond scum in my opinion. Interesting that he shows no favoratism and pulls these flat-out MEAN pranks on everyone. He needs to be booted from the show. Too malicious and a loose cannon.

According to her show -- and she said that the incident she talks about is all on tape because it was done in front of a live audience at an awards ceremony (don't know which one -- he got behind her on the podium and reached forward and pretty much ripped open her blouse (Badgley-Mishka $4000 rented blouse she says - yikes!) as a joke. This was not part of the schtick, it was his idea of an impromptu laugh. There's a whole story that leads up to it and what happened in the moments after (way too much to relate here), but I must say it was an eye-opener about this idiot yet Griffin made the story funny -- to her credit. Check out her TV special if you can (might be on Bravo channel?), it re-runs a lot. Interesting!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo, I voted for her and was so happy she won, she really was awesome and her reaction to winning the money was priceless. My hubby was mad because he voted for the little yodeling girl.

I did not like that one bit! That was so mean how he told him he was the one going home! It was a shocker, but he will be one getting a contract sometime in the near future. I hope Taylor wins! I will for sure be keeping my phone lines busy next time - just goes to show that you better be calling and voting for the one you like most. Never would have thought Chris would have gotten voted off tonight....

I am so sorry you are going through this. It's not easy to be in that situation. I have been under a mountain of debt and staring at bankrupty before, with two small children and no money for food, and no help in sight.
I second the suggestion to talk with your creditors. Also, pay the necessities first, which of course you know already. I am going to look into Dave Ramsey myself, after that suggestion.
One thing I have leared is that change is constant. Things will keep changing and this will get better with time.
I do know people who have downsized from owning a home to moving into an apt. for a season in order to get out of debt. That may sound crazy, but in THEIR position it helped them with utility costs, commute costs, etc. I am not telling you to do that at all, but perhaps there are other options that would make things easier for you to pay everything right now.
Sometimes I feel like I would like to take just my laptop and a change of clothes and buy an RV and hit the road. 
Wish we could have a big yard sale together.

I am a singer and I appreciate his voice. He may not be much to look at, but he is coming along. Better hair last night. I get goosebumps when he sings.

...will sell some CD's. I don't think he'll be a SUPERSTAR or anything. But he has a substantial fan base and they will surely buy. Depends on the label and PR.
I don't get the attraction to Kat either. She's physically attractive I suppose (not to me of course, LOL) and she can sing, but she doesn't seem to have "it". The 3 guys all have "it" in their own ways/style.

My sister who is a CNA at a nursing home is constantly saying I 'just type what people say'.  Yeah, OK... I'd like her to even TRY to do this!! My other sister thought that way too until I played a dictation for her and she put the headset down and said he couldn't understand a word said. Wish I could get the older sister to try it, but she'd not admit defeat anyway.
Or how it isn't a real job because I don't go to an office everyday. Yeah, I'd like to see them work with a toddler underfoot and still do a good job.
I'm happy with my career choice though and I'm proud of myself and my husband is proud of me so I'm happy with that! Plus I get to have this great job and still never have to miss any of my daughter's firsts.

I noticed that during the initial audition. They are getting better, he has been having dental work done for at least the last two shows. He has such a nice voice, I am sure before the grand finale his teeth will look real nice.

I'm rooting for Taylor or Elliott now that Chris is gone. I really don't want Katherine to win, but I have the feeling she will. Supposedly people are saying she's more "marketable"
I really like Elliott the best but I think Taylor
will win. I just think it's a shame if Kat is in the final two. I think Elliott completely deserves to be at LEAST 2nd. I think he will do well regardless and hope he gets a record deal out of this at least. He's different, Taylor is different, but nothing about Kat is anything but ordinary. Of course Chris was different too. I thought it would be cool to be down to the three guys. I think they're all unique, they all have completely different styles, and that's great. I think they ARE American Idols. They each highlight a different kind of music that Americans love. I really hope that Elliott stays tonight!

What a great, great guy. I'm sorry, but Kat sure came off poorly tonight, and her mother's little "take that" for the camera while Elliott was getting his goodbye was in very poor taste. I would have loved to have had Taylor and Elliott in the finals together. I would have been happy no matter who won then. I have a 19-year-old son, and I'd be so, so proud to have him carry himself with the dignity that Elliott did tonight. I'm am so sad for him, but I hope that something good comes for him out of this.

I wanted to see Elliott go to the finale, too
I'm worried about him tonight, though. I wish he would have picked a better song for his final one last night...something with a little more wow factor. Something more recognizable that people would have recognized and identified with, like Kat's Somewhere Over The Rainbow. People just turning in, who haven't watched all season and picked a favorite long ago, probably wouldn't have voted for him based on just last night. That's why I worry about Taylor if he makes it to the finals next week. Plenty of people will tune in just for the finals and I think if Kat is there, she will definitely have the advantage over Taylor to get those voters. I'm not giving up on Elliott until the show's over tonight, though.
It all depends on who gets Elliott's voters
with everyone being in the 33% range last week that tells you the fan voting for Kat and Taylor was just about even. The key is in who gets the Elliott voters and from what I read on the AI boards it sure won't be Kat.

There is no reason for you to feel humiliated. He is the problem, not you. You know your family best and must choose the path that seems right to you. However, please consider making it clear to your family, your mother in particular, what has been going on and why you have been forced to make this choice. He has no right to make you miserable. Is there a trusted family member in whom you could confide? Having an ally in your family would likely lighten the burden. In any event, please strengthen your relationships outside your family so that you have caring friends and associates to count on if there is no one in your family to turn to.

It's getting harder to pick. I'm afraid maybe Elliott but
hoping it's Katharine (although the second song she did last night was WONDERFUL). Elliott should NEVER have sang "I want to go home," that could stick in the minds of people when voting.
Along with this, is anyone having parties during all of the this. My DH is doing Pampered Chef and we've been invited to an AI party to do PC. The party will start at 6 and it should be lots of fun.
Taylor/Elliott finale would be my dream
Then, I wouldn't be disappointed no matter who won and who came in second. I thought Chris was great in the beginning, too. Now, he just does nothing for me. I thought he was really contrived last night. Katherine did really awful on that second song, and she has never shown that spark, either, at least to me. Taylor I've loved from the beginning, and Elliott has grown on me a lot. I think he's the contestant who has grown the most in the competition, sort of like Clay. I'm waiting to see what Zaba Search says in about an hour, but they had him in last place last night. I hope Dial Idol is correct this time, but I just don't know. I will be very disappointed if Elliott goes home tonight instead of Katherine. It could be a big shocker like the first year and maybe Chris will go home? Doubtful.
Elliott needs to be with his very sick Mom. Being the Idol would prevent that. sm
Besides, from what he said about AI being a "steppingstone," he's probably been contacted by someone big. He's going to make it, no matter what. I think being the Idol at this time would be too much for his personal life. His mother needs him now, and he knows it.
