Had the same problem

When I first started with the national I still work for (over a year), I had 17 years of experience, but was constantly bombarded with QA messages. Some had to do with formatting, which was understandable, but I got a lot of nonsense, most of it contradictory.  I would get, "If the dictator says ROS for the heading, use ROS instead of spelling it out." So I'd use ROS and then get a  QA message, "NEVER USE ABBREVIATIONS IN HEADINGS! ALWAYS TYPE THEM OUT. . . REVIEW OF SYSTEMS. " I do 4/5 for 4 over 5 and get, "use 4 over 5." So I'd use 4 over 5 and get "use 4/5." Arrrghh.

I sent all the conflicting garbage to my supervisor and it stopped.  I think they just pick on you because you're a "newbie" to them regardless of your experience.  After my 6 months was up I heard absolutely NOTHING from QA. Even when I asked for feedback. It's been 8 months now and I get no feedback whatsoever.  I did one dictator 16 times in a row that would mumble his last name (using someone elses ID) and 16 times I sent a message to QA (Cannot understand dictator's name, please advise). I never heard a thing.

Ignore them. They'll soon realize you know as much, if not more than they do.
