HRT

I have been taking bioidentical hormones for a little over a year now.  I had been taking Estrotest and Provera.  When I found out that they were less optimal forms, I asked my doc to change to the bioidentical forms Estrace and Prometrium.  My mood has improved, and those night sweats have stopped!! I'm 60, and have been taking the hormones since age 53.  Blood test (more accurate than saliva) for hormones showed they were low for my age, as well as bone-density test showed I am nearing osteopenia.  I'm supposed to have repeats of both these tests at the one-year mark, and am hoping for improvement in both!!!
