Well, sorry to say but you are way off base.  I don't even drink.  You spout off saying that Natalee and her mother should have known this was going to happen simply because she is 18 and went to Aruba.  She was drinking and partying and so therefore she did this to herself.  You are saying that her mother has not taught her values or instilled any kind of morals in her daughter and that she is a bad mother because she let her go on a trip at her age.  You are criticising the mother because she has stated that she feels the Aruban government is doing a poor job of finding her daughter and because her makeup looks too good on TV. 

What I am saying is that it doesnt matter what age Natalee was or if her mother did or did not let her go to Aruba.  What matters is that someone in Aruba has committed a crime.  MURDER.  Also, I would think that someone that has gone through losing a spouse in that way would be a little more understanding of this mother's plight and exhibit a little more empathy.  As you certainly know, you cannot always control the actions of others, a husband, a daughter, etc.  My whole point is basically leave the mother alone.  Stop dogging her and how she is handling the disappearance of her daughter when you have no idea how it would make you act if it were you. 

According to what you are saying, Joran could go to trial and be found guilty of murder but he could always say...well, she WAS drunk and in Aruba and only 18.  What did she expect!  I think that is pathetic and a little to passive in our thinking. I think that is why our world is the way it is today.  It is time to place the blame on the people who are doing the wrong. 

I am sorry that you feel the need to call people with differing opinions names.  I feel sorry for you because no matter how much you deny it, the whole tone of all of your posts exudes bitterness.
