Brandy and all, Thanks for your help. A friend came out and we checked everything and I was doing things correctly. However, we figured it out that the program was not new enough to handle his new recorder. We downloaded the Express Scribe (which I am wondering is a new updated version of my WAV pedal program) and everything is working fine. Obviously, I need to tweak things. Like I need to figure out what to set it on when you back it up to relisten. Advise there will be helpful. I set up a folder in My Documents for My WAV, and an archive file and that seemed to work fine. So sounds like the same as you do pretty much. I will print off the manual so as to have a paper copy to study through. Thanks to all for sharing.
