Only whites are accused of being racists but listen to some of the music you hear on MTV, listen to Jesse Jackson and AL Sharpton. Are they racists? Darned right they are! Legit place...hmmmm. There are a few out there. Whether they have clinic work is another story. I'm sure someone will have suggestions. But, isn't it cool that you'll probably already know the doctors no matter where you go!
This is not a good choice. There are too many good schools
that have proven their worth. Andrews, MTEC and even Career Step, but I would not choose a school that has spammed the internet in every crack there is as the one you have mentioned. Find some graduates and see what they have to say. Go to mtchat.com and do a search of this school.

For anyone who has been on the Skyline Drive in Va and Gatlinberg and the Smokes in TN which did you
prefer or think was the nicest to see. I have been in VA but thinking of driving to TN which is about 10 hours so not sure if it is worth it.

I am looking for someone who has applied for a business grant or any grant and received it. I have been looking for how to apply and where and what is needed to apply?
No company has to GRANT OT. If they
tell you not to work it, then don't. You should never assume with any job there is OT. If there is, just be thankful for the extra money, but never ever count on it.

Also went to comm. college on a grant
and starting doing a paid internship before I graduated from the 9 month program. I was offered a FT job in-house doing acute care at a major hospital. I did well enough for 7 years that I continued my education to become a respiratory care practioner (where, by the way, I took an initial paycut).

Every job has its pros and cons. The more US MTs we can bring in is that many fewer jobs going overseas. Besides, I like my job.

Wanting to start out with a consultant is called being prepared and nothing to do with my capabiilty of handling a business. both are very two different entitities. Its like operating any other business to get started. If it was not true there would not be any consultants out there. both of you might have started 20 years by the sounds of your posts and it sounds like you might have hit it lucky getting by without contracts. I would rather be safe than sorry but more power to you. I guess it makes you feel "superior."

I type ortho all day. So for some reason, just for fun???? I decided to give myself a Phalen's test. (If you aren't familiar, Google it and you will find tons of info, picutres and instructions) Yow, I did not feel it at first but now I am all tingly in the palm and ulnar nerve distribution in my hand. Probably not a good thing to do when you still have to type another hour.
Don't try this at home ....or at least when you want good use of your hands.  Guess I need to review my ergonomic, or not so ergonomic, positioning of my equipment.

Sorry, but that's the attitude YOU put forward. You're the one ranting about not being able to find quality MTs. You use the same nickname and the same style as someone who posted the same topic a few days ago. I think you knew that would incite a riot. Maybe the MTs should start an MTSO bashing post and explain the real reason some MTSOs can't find decent MTs. You reap what you sow. If you're only offering newbie rates, you're only going to get newbie applicants. Maybe it's YOU that is the reason you can't find quality MTs.
