Well, the Geek Squad guy told me
that there was more to it than that and you could not run both operating systems. He said I would have to take Vista out and put XP back in, but I never tried it, so I don't know this for a fact. That's just what he told me
if you know what you want get a geek to build you one
Cheaper and better! Not mention you'll know who to call and whether or not they speak English...;)

If you live in the Seattle area, try this link:
http://www.dresch.org/web/dcs/default.asp?c=1

I know him and his work - he'll put a 'puter together to your specifications and it'll be far superior to Dell (or anyone else, plus cost a lot less money)
Geek site
Hi - I missed this one and can't find the post. Would someone mind letting me know the web site. Thanks. Gussie
Not geek enough to know the answer to that. Sorry. nm

Ask a computer geek sm
I would go to my local Best Buy or other such store and ask a computer geek. You don't necessarily have to have them do it, but they would be able to answer that technical question for you without spending the money first. I found the Geek Sqad expensive and I wish I had asked before I gave them my computer to work on. I would have asked first, asked the price, and then made the decision whether to buy it and do it myself, some downloads, etc. are simple. You could carry in your tower or laptop if you really have to but be prepared to pay $$$.
My geek told me the opposite. He said that
if you leave it on all the time, the computer is vulnerable to hacker attacks because they're probing your ports even with a firewall on.  They know how to get through firewalls and web browser security glitches.
It is hecka good. All over the geek help forums

I've got it on trial right now myself, and it has cleaned up some stuff for me that AVG, SpyBot, and Ad-Aware passed right over.

First free trial of something on-line I've had that I think I really am truly inspired to buy after all (whenever I can afford it).

Whoever posted the link for the Geek site...THANK YOU

You don't know how hard it is to shop for my husband!  I've never seen that site before, but I found at least THREE things I could buy him for Christmas!  It's a miracle.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Cuz i've been a word geek reading 1000 wpm since age 8. This MT thing keeps
guess if I couldn't be a doctor, MT is the closest I could come without investing $100K.
