Frank still loves the ranks even if you are rankled by Frank.
Frank cares. Didn't you get your chapstick? He doesn't want you to get chapped lips. Now that beats a raise doesn't it. Money is so impersonal. MQ chapsticks mean so much more. Lots of thought went into bypassing raises and just mailing those chapsticks that are clever enough to fit on a keychain that Frank including. That's big!
Listen Mrs. Frank MQ. Just because Frank gave all his MTs a chapstick doesn't mean
he loves you less. You have to learn to share such a charismatic dude as Frank. There is enough Frank for all of us. Now go wipe your eyes and get your chapstick and be ready for Frank when he finally gets home. He has worked hard today looking for Christmas presents for MTs to top the chapsticks and that's not easy.
PS: I hear he got us nail files to keep us MTs prettied up. How cool is that? Maybe you could help him get that MQ emblem on the files for that personal touch.
I went to MQ web site where Frank is now answering questions. Looks like Frank
is running behind on his questions because they are last dated May 11. Maybe he is in Hawaii? 
frank has needs just as we do. if frank needs a personal touch, i'm there for him.
just say the word. frank has so many stressors perhaps that extra personal touch will enable him to clear his mind and understand the mts who just want to help him. frank, we are here for you dude. just say the word.

This, in my opinion, ranks right up there with the illegals using....
your Soc Security number to work under. It's an illegal act, no matter which way you look at it. And, when "they" are tested on the phone for an interview, how is that going to fly? This whole reeks of illegality and purely a *wrong* thing to do.
In this expensive 21st Century, even a rank beginner deserves
even 12-15 cpl will be below minimum wage, if the current inflationary trends continue.

This year is just not as good as last year. Maybe it's because the contestants aren't as good as last year, I don't know, but I do know that I'm becoming bored with the whole show!

Saying you hate coddling minorities, etc., is pretty scary. What's wrong with a play that includes the full religious and cultural beliefs of the season rather than just yours?
And yes, you could probably tell there weren't any blacks in the audience, but you couldn't tell if there were any Jews.
There's a lot of hate here and a lot of xenophobia. Frankly, the attitudes don't sound much like Jesus at all.
I got some last year and frankly, don't seem to work...sm
for me. I think they would probably do better with boots on, but that isn't going to happen. They seem to just heat in the toes and really not very much. Don't keep me any warmer than heavy socks. I also have some socks that are to microwave. They have beads all through the bottom of the sock. Not bad, but very temporary and tough to walk with.

hoot about what my family or anyone else would THINK about my work, why should I spend my time even considering that?? You only need to burn energy for things you can change, not things you cannot. I think it is a waste of time. People will think what they want to think and all the breath in the world will not change them. Let others vent, I could care less. I have more important things to do besides wondering what people think of me, my family, my pets, etc. I live my life like I want to. As you age, you really could care less about what people think. Waste of time. Do like Sylvia Browne says, if anything toxic around you, be it a child or whatever, you put it aside. Life is too short, much too short.

I love my company, my hours, and most of all, I feel I am paid an honest wage (more than I was making in-house at a hospital). So, no, it is not ALL bad. I went through several companies and was very discouraged, but no longer. Good luck to you.

When I had to work and support a family I did not have the option of sitting around and waiting on work. Hubby and I had a talk about this just last night. He said as long as they allow it to happen it will continue. Years ago as a divorced mother who had a family to support, out of work, well then I got out and found something else. I was never without work, in fact I worked several transcription jobs because I always wanted to have more money as I loved to travel and hated to not be able to buy like I wanted to. Never had food stamps, no welfare, nothing from outsiders, just me doing it. Bought a home on my own, cars, traveled, food always on the table. I never just sat and waited for work.

aren't you required to have ongoing training regarding learning disabilities and disorders such as ADHD? After all, federal law requires that teachers provide accomodations for this "fake disease" so maybe you better catch up with what evidence-based medicine is teaching these days.
Reading your post and frankly, my dear,
I do not believe if you transcribe 200 lph manually that you can do 6500 lines a day on Escription. Manually I always typed 250 or more an hour. I now work on Escription and have for some time. You would have had to go from manual from 1600 lines a day to over 800 lph. I have NEVER done 800 an hour and have done Escription now for 5 years. If I kept my foot on the pedal without making the first correction I do not think 800 would be possible. You must be in sales for the Escription platform.

I would prefer AAMT start working on getting us better working conditions, a more standardized and fair pay scale, and benefits, instead of certifying offshore MTs and getting involved in offshoring to the extent that they are. Really, now, which do you care most about?
QA works on quota. Frankly, they don't try that hard, either, to fill in the blanks.

I had a neighbor like this once but after a frank
She had a boyfriend and they were the have a fight and make up kind. One night they had a particularly nasty argument and I didn't know who was going to win the _ugly word_ you, no _ugly word_ you argument. She kicked him out. We lived in NJ and he lived in Brooklyn and it was after public transportation had stopped running so he was looking at a $100 cab fare home.
The next day I made a point of running into her and being curiously interested in the bus schedules to Brooklyn and cab fares and when she asked why I was asking, I told her I was concerned for her boyfriend after what had happened the night before, using my best "bless your heart" face and telling her if she ever needed someone to talk to, just knock on my door.
She avoided me like the plague after that and they started meeting at his house

Anybody else get letter from Frank today?
Got a letter from Frank about "document preservation" and the ever-threatening "new pay plan." He keeps mentioning his new pay plan, but never has the balls to tell us what it is.
Frank did not write me. I am jealous.

Lets ask Frank about spaces
Well, maybe all us MQ workers should send a friendly letter to Frank (isnt he still the CEO?) and ask if we get paid for spaces. I have been told in the past I do, however, I have noted a decrease in lines when switching to DQS and dont know where those lines went. I have to work one to two hours more a day to make the same line count I made on Cottage, in the **good old days**..OMG, not paying for spaces? Well, then maybe we should not space between words or sentences, cause it takes our thumb to hit the key board and know when to space, Im working here..It working to put in spaces..I should be paid!!..Or, okay, dont pay me for spaces, then pay me more for my lines and my intelligence and my knowledge of medical..

Whenever I bid an account, I have a frank discussion about TAT...
really only ER and X-ray need dictation back within 24 hours. For the rest of 'em, it's just a convenience. I explain as a small MTSO I don't want to be the one telling the MT who is sick with the flu that she HAS to get it done. None of my clients have ever complained about their TAT, which range anywhere from 24-48 to 1 week.
