Does anyone know of a company that will hire a Transcriptionist with 20 years experience in all phases of transcription who DOES NOT need benefits but does need 24-hour turnaround time flexibility? It seems most of the places are going to hourly. I need to change jobs.

you are perfectly free to celebrate whatever holiday you wish to NOW. The majority celebrating Christmas does not diminish that in any way, shape or form.
Freedom of speech is still a part of the
constitution. I once had a supervisor tell me he knew that his secretary and I had been talking about him, and he would terminate me if I ever talked to ANYONE about him again.  I actually laughed in his face (and never got terminated).
This is really stupid that anyone or any company thinks they have the right to control what people can and cannot talk about. Now, company information that can be damaging if disclosed is another issue. However, salary info doesn't fall into that category. It falls under the "How much do you make, because I want to be sure I'm getting a fair deal" category.

I just signed up for Verizon Freedom - sm
Unlimited LD. I told them when I signed up what I would be using it for and they told me that was not a problem at all. Is this the plan you had?

--as long as the work is in my deadline my "employer" does not care when I work- WORST is when I procrastinate and then either have to work like a nut to get done, or stay up to ungodly hours to get the work done, or work all day instead of doing whatever project or thing I wanted to get done that day. ---I can deal with the taxes, yes its a pain, but my lack of schedule is well worth it to me.
Phone. Rad docs don't have much freedom to move... SM
because they have to look at the films while dictating and that ties them down to certain equipment.
