Think of being on QA as an extension of being in school, only this time you're getting paid for it.  I have little pocket notebooks that I keep at my desk to write notes down in.  Words I didn't know that QA had to help me with, new short cuts in my expander, things like that.  I go back and flip through it every couple of days or so to remind myself of stuff I've written down.


I know it seems frustrating, but in another couple of weeks or so the light bulb will come on and you'll start to really get it.  I know when I was brand spanking new it took several months for me to really feel comfortable and at least begin to know what I was doing.
