I think all of the MTs that post on this board should stop **** complaining about this job. Every job has it's ups and downs. I'll be the first to agree with that...Yesterday, I had nothing but foreign doctors who mumbled, belched, yawned, coughed, talked on their cell phones and / or talked as fast as they could to get through the reports, but I am very comfortable in my own home in my pajamas with no-one staring down my neck to tell me to work faster and harder or do some mundane chore that isn't in my job description. You all don't know what you are asking for. I love my job. Sure, there is always someone to answer to if you don't work for yourself... but... think about the money woud spend out of your "salaried" paycheck on gas, car insurance, wear and tear on your car, time you lose in getting to and from, having to buy your lunch, not to mention not meeting your daily quota because another MT doesn't give a hoot about her job and wants to stand by your desk and talk to you all day. Are you all crazy? Okay, so you make $14.00 + an hour. How much of that do you think is yours when all is said and done? To me, the only benefit is health insurance. Other than that, not a thing ! From what I've seen over the years, most MTSOs that let you work at home will give you insurance if you just make the quota they ask for. Not to be a bitc_, but I've said it once and I'll say it again... IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT... GET OUT. The answer is that simple. And oh, by the way, our economy is in the toilet.. where will you find another job? Tell me that. I can tell you all from the BEST source there is that there are 35,000 MT jobs available right now in this country - YES, IN THIS COUNTRY, so if you want to give your job to someone else, make things bad for the rest of us who are quite happy doing what we do, and / or cause more work to go overseas, then by all means......... have at it. Am I angry? You better believe I am. I am a very mild mannered, kind and caring person and very, very rarely lose my temper, but this makes me seriously cringe and I just can't bite my tongue.
