THanks for your responses! As as PT employee the only benefit I get is taxes taken out. I don't get PTO, I don't get 401k, I don't get disability, nothing but taxes. So the only difference in being IC would be I would have to do my taxes. I'm married and have insurance through my husband's work.

I'm just so scared to make the leap to IC because I've never been there before. Taxes freak me out . I guess if I'm on top of things it wouldn't be that big of a deal? Who knows.
