I know what you are saying. Unless you are talking to a fellow MT when you say ESL people are like what the heck is that. So you are saying it is nice to have other MTs who know what the terminology you use means. I think that becoming an MT makes some people not as social. Well speaking for myself anyways. I don't get out much either. I will not be hard on you because I understand what you are saying. But you have to excuse some of these people on here.
