Not sure if you are still interested in one of these, but I have had one since November of last year. Saying that I love it does not even begin to describe it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but most keys are hit with the same fingers as a QWERTY board, and that helps. I have never been able to touch type in my life until I got this thing, and the number of typos has gone way down. There is a learning curve, and your productivity does go down for a bit, but I have always been very slow, anyway, and my production has gone up a lot with the Datahand. I was also having some shoulder and hand pain until I bought it, but that went away quickly.
I also love the fact that you can move the two pods around. For instance, I often work on a porch swing with a laptop. I have one pod on the Laplander board that it came with sitting om my right leg, while the left pod is actually on a big pillow next to me. Both arms are sitting where they would go naturally, and all I have to do is wiggle my fingers to type. (I am able to have the two pods that far apart frm each other because I did order an extension cable from the manufacturer. I did not like having to keep my hands close together as with a regular keyboard, but you still can use the Laplander to put them together.
Unfortunately, I am having to sell it because I desperately need the money. I cannot believe I am having to sell it, especially after saving up for it for so long (they are VERY expensive), but I am trying to pay the mortgage. If you are interested, let me know. I am going to list it on Craigslist, and if that doesn't work, then possibly eBay.

Does anyone use of those DataHand Ergonomic keyboards?....
I'd love to hear opinions on this. It looks interesting but is there a learning curve...do you have to learn a whole new layout? I've got to try something different as my hands/wrists/arms are killing me and I think I may be going down the carpal tunnel road. I do mostly voice recognition editing and wonder if anyone has had a good experience using this with VR as well as regular transcription. Please, any comments or opinions are very much appreciated.
