You can use dial-up to work in DQS, but it's slower, especially if you have to do a lot of ADT searches.
I've heard satellite is possible, like DirecWay from DirecTV.
Another thing you might want to check on is wireless. Some local ISPs do have that service. Probably a remote chance of this, but worth looking into if you can.
