My sister makes Clipper Ship Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Milk chocolate chips, sometimes toasted pecans, and varies between Grand Marnier or sometimes Amaretto in them!

Oooooooooo!!!! Large cookies, and fresh baked with a glass of super cold milk!

Now my mouth is watering! LOL
Chocolate with a chocolate ganache frosting and some extra whipped cream. nm

Just about anything CHOCOLATE. German chocolate, Texas sheet cake, etc. YUM YUM ;-) nm

I have a tremendous craving --sm
to succeed in what I do. When I first started as an MT I told myself that I would do anything, including working until midnight if I had to, to do well at this position. I guess I have a work ethic above most others, but that is from too many years of others deciding the outcome of my future and keeping me from being who I wanted to be or from achieving any of MY goals in life. My work comes first, over and above everything else. I begin working about 7 or 7:30 am and work straight through. I take two breaks, one to eat something around noon and one to go and get my mail at around 3. When I eat though, I usually make a small snack, sandwich, etc. and eat while I continue typing. No TV, no music, no phonecalls unless important and job related. These interruptions slow me down thereby costing me time, lines, and money and to me that is just not acceptable. This is more than just a job to me. I love what I do. I have worked hard to get where I am today and I refuse to let anything or anyone threaten that. It is all in a mindset, I guess. but it is just how I do things and I am not recommending it for anyone else. I do get burned out sometimes, but usually a nice weekend away from it all brings me right back to the helm. Living comfortably on my own volitions is my top priority and work allows me that, so work is my top priority....above anything else. But that's just me.
Is that like, hmm the chip?
NM
Not the crispiest chip in the bag.
x
When I was little I thought it was a giant golden potato chip- sm
we even called it that every year...don't remember how that got started though, funny now.
to all you pro cookie makers
How do I get my sugar cookies to look like the pictures?  Mine keep spreading out and the Christmas trees look like a big blob.  Thanks!
You are 1 smart cookie
No matter what your age, you have done all the right things in order to have things go smoothly and be a productive worker at home. I like your way of doing things!
thanks, Cookie, your understanding reply to my
(as another poster called it) "whining" what a great Christmas present. Empathy is a great gift.
Cookies! Uhm, well, now I do have some cookie dough in the fridge!
Perhaps I should dollop a few out and bake'em and eat'em while they are hot with some cold milk before bed?!?! Then, I can fall asleep as my blood sugar plummets to new lows! ROFL

No, don't read those posts. It's irritating! Who wants to be irritated?! NOT ME!! LOL
Cookie making for scoring new accounts
I think what Patti does is a creative, impressionable way to get the account that she is seeking out by winning over the doctors and nurses...and it works well for her and my guess is that either she makes really wonderful cookies or she is just a really great person who is friendly, ambitious and knows how to get work. (Probably a combination of all! :)

Whoever thought food giving is an unprofessional gesture????? Have you ever seen the "feast" that drug reps bring into the office for a quick meeting with a doctor??? They certainly know how to win over a doctor too.

The doctors certainly are not complaining and neither is Patti for breaking the sweat to bake the cookies...It's all worth the effort for her and I appreciate her sharing her effective method with us!

Posted on the Gab Board about name suggestions for my cookie business if anyone would like to help
I'm not sure how busy the Gab Board is compared to this board, so I thought I'd post here as an fyi. Thanks for any help :)
chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate

chocolate
I like to have flavored coffee in the afternoon - German Chocolate Cake coffee from Barnie's is good and no cals (well maybe literally 5!). Otherwise, brush your teeth :)
I won Chocolate too and it was such a fun wk

bribe myself with chocolate
I set my goal of 30 minutes, 200 lines, whatever, and once I meet my goal I get to eat a piece of candy that I keep sitting below my monitor as motivation. Reese's peanut butter cups and Dove chocolate are my fave!
chocolate fountain
I saw one of these at the opening of a store and the person that owned the fountain, stayed and attended to it. I didn't see how it was set up or taken down. It was a really neat thing and the fresh fruits and other accompaniments were yummy.
Chocolate cravings...
I find it more tempting working at home to eat junk -esp. when I get bored transcribing. SO, I just don't keep it in the house cause if it's here, I'll probably sooner or later eat some! LOL...Unfortunately, my husband (who is trim, dang him!) always has a bag or two of mini candy bars in the fridge. I just put them to the back where I can't see them. Or, I will buy the Slim-Fast snack bars, which are QUITE good! Only about 120 calories each, which is better than 280 for a candy bar. Hope that helps!
I won chocolate this year! Thank you again.
love
chocolate and lots of it! nm
nm
I love the RS chocolate pecan ones especially! (nm)

And dunk the extra into chocolate!

I am changing the meaning of this emoticon. She is melting chocolate!

Thanks for reminding me I have bananas in my freezer, lol.  Maybe I'll make some banana bread today too.

Chocolate-covered strawberries.....Yum Yum!!!
xx
Me, too, but it's the dark chocolate. I get up and do something else, have a few bites, and then
s
Chocolate banana milkshakes. sm
Nephrology doc had me on these twice a day when my protein and electrolytes were low.  Ice cream, 1 banana and milk, add chocolate, whip it up in the blender. I even used to throw my multivitamin in there for good measure.  Tasted so good I got addicted to them.  LOL-it was a great chocolate fix. I think you could add some peanut butter in there, too, for a different twist and it has plenty of protein.
I'll take anything that's dark chocolate, thanks! :) nm
f
Well, I'll be dipped in chocolate!
Yes, I am connected through a VPN!   That would explain it . . .  when I'm not connected, I don't have the problem!  Thanks so much - you've solved my problem!
Talking about chocolate frosting--
I bought 1 of these smaller, looks like birthday cake, at the store yesterday and ate almost the whole thing, after dinner. I paid for that last night - did not have my head high enough up on my pillow and the reflux kicked in. I should know than to do that but gosh, the chocolate was saying eat me - and I was just thinking about that diet yesterday.
I agree with the suggestion of dark chocolate.
Also, I keep a bag of Hershey's kisses hidden. Whenever I need a boost, I just let one melt in my mouth. I can't eat an entire candy bar or bag of M&Ms. Too much sugar!
Aren't Dove Chocolate Caramels to die for?

No message sweetie.  Send me some Dove candies.

It's similar to German Chocolate cake, but
you put the pecans and coconut on the bottom of the pan and layer the chocolate cake mix with a drizzled layer of cream cheese and (can't find my recipie!!) When you bake it the cake cracks in the areas that you have drizzled the cream cheese mixture, thus the name. It's soooooo good!
The post regarding nearly attacking the can of chocolate frosting?

I'm glad you spirits are lifted Hayseed cuz you always give me a chuckle with your witty posts.

Now go climb those mountains, you goat, you.

I hope she's frolicking with my beloved 2yo chocolate Lab, who left us 2 yrs ago.

No you can't survive on sex and chocolate but will die happy probably pretty quickly.
It would be a bummer to watch Johnny Dep get old and cranky anyway.
sean connary, chocolate, white wine
that would be perfect.
Milk chocolate. Forget the rest of the candy.
I like most of the mini chocolate bars, but especially Butterfinger, KitKat, and Mr. Goodbar.
long walk, eat chocolate, gripe to husband :)

Has anyone here ever rented a chocolate fountain? We're thinking of using one for DD's weddin

reception and are wondering just how easy or difficult they are to set up and take down, and if there are any problems during use of.  Anyone?

Thanks!

I think it's the Baskin Robbins Chocolate Mint hard candies
x
George Clooney, chocolate dipped strawberries, and Dom Perignon champagne.
x
Candy corn is my fave, but not the Sam's Choice stuff. Eww. The only chocolate I really love is S

what's on Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I always wonder what it is that they do to their chocolate to make it so good.

Since I gave up eating sugar and refined carbs, I don't crave chocolate sm
I gave up sugar and refined carbs in March of 2004 and I don't crave anything "bad" anymore. I actually had withdrawal-type symptoms for a few days though.

I feel much, much better now :)
Take all foods with ASPARTAME out of diet. Stop cokes, chocolate. Eat leafy green veggies. Drink

just did a research for a friend of mine whose doctor had given her vit E and quinine for her leg cramps.  When I was researching I ran across the above to go with your type symptoms along with the leg cramps.

:)

Three dogs...Max our mixed, CoCo our chocolate cocker and Monroe our Cavilier King Charles spaniel,

Use less salt than directed in the recipes. Try the powdered milk hot chocolate recipes! Yummy :-)
nt
Just one? Texas cake (chocolate cake no frosting) and ...
the other favorite is butter cake with chocolate frosting. Or chocolate with chocolate fudge frosting. Not sophisticated, but wonderful choices all.
