She wants to have line count contests. What better way to burn yourself out more but to add more pressure? That is all that I said. Geesh. It takes thick skin in this field, and what was your cure for her burn out state or YOU JUST WANTED TO CHASTISE ME for posting how I feel? You do not know me or my situation. I did not judge the OP. I did not say that the OP should feel a certain way. If she wants to form a group of burn-outs, then fine, so be it. Who am I to argue that? Whatever floats someones boat. I'd rather form a group of positive outlookers myself not attract more burn outs, but I guess misery does LOVE company; for sure. Best wishes to all.

see, we are human, we all make mistakes. We just get frustrated by the few - and I REPEAT Few! - MTs who abuse QA and then blame us for their inadequacies. I know that it is not most of you, most of you are awesome and I am humbled by your knowledge - but there are many others who are just plain lazy and should have chosen another line of work. You must understand our deep frustration.
The key words "feel like I have been had". There are no feelings in business..sm
Unfortunately, there is no place for emotional feelings when doing business. I too learned the hard way, just as you have.
Sorry for your experience, but it will make you stronger and smarter for future dealings.
