Does anyone know anything about CorTmedical? A friend has been offered a job, and we want to find out what people know about them.

I'm just wondering about how the company pays and is this company okay to work for?

I don't know if a newbie can do better or not. I have lots of typing experience and a good knowledge of medical terminology. But all my work experience is "old" not recent, so therefore, I would have to go back to school (not just any medical transcription school, but one of the top three) and take a complete course in order to get a job doing this type work. I have done medical transcription in the past, off and on for several years; I also worked at a large insurance company doing transcription (some legal, some medical, and some just "business" type using digital equipment). But, I can['t find a job out there that doesn't want at least 2 years recent experience.

I just recently got bitten by this company. Have you ever gotten paid? I have contacted their state labor enforcement agencies, and I will make sure this does not happen to anyone else ever again.
