This is to true Brian! sm

I live in British Columbia, Canada, and we recently had a big case in Vancouver were there was a man who had started a company, posted many ads looking for employees or offering job placement assistance and it was all a ploy to obtain personal information and use if for identy theft.  Especially because when you are applying for a job you may need to give you Social Insurance Number (if you a Canadian) or your Social Security Number (if you are American).  They have everything they need then to steal you identity.

Brian Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting.
From The Three Musketeers movie.
Interior design? Psychology? sm
There are some degrees that are great, but will require a Master's or higher to make you rise above the rest. You also need internships and other experiences to help.

And there are others that are definitely not "worthless" (though I don't think ANY degree is worthless), including nursing, physical therapy, and others. You're pretty much assured of a great job with those.

Am I the only one hooked on this show???  I was so glad to see Alice stay in the competition last night.  I was sad to see Tym go, but glad that David got to stay.  Wonder who will win??
HGTV DESIGN STAR - sm
Anyone else vote online or text message for one of these kids?  Just curious as to which one you voted for....my vote was for David.  Alice's designs did nothing for me, and she had a somewhat fake affect.  Any other opinions?
That's good to know...do they help design brochures too?? nm
NM
There must be a reason or many why you left your graphic design job after being at it for so long..s
and why you chose to go into MT. Actually 5 years may not be long enough to have the experience needed to make as much money as you can or maybe the MT company you work for may not be the best fit for you. With all your other variables (gas, comute, disabled husband who likes you to be home) you may want to reconsider where you are with your current MT job and try to find ways to be more productive (like more experience, word expander, different company, different work type, working for a specified period and then taking a break, etc). I have been an MT for 30 years and while it has its pros and cons, for me the pros outweigh the cons. You will just have to decide what works best for you. Good luck in whatever you decide.
We could design a "Speak and Spell" for MTs -- "The PA says ... AM-LOPE-A-DEEN..." LOL n

Patent ovales (nm)

Maybe you should patent that idea :)

The invention would make you a millionaire overnight!

One thing I forgot to mention was one of the "split" keyboards.  I used to have one years ago.  I think it was called "Microsoft Natural" or something like that.  These  keyboards take some time getting used to, but they do help the fingers.

You may not have a patent but you do have copyright. SM
You created it.  No one can use it or alter it without your written consent.  I wouldn't share either.
Patent ductus "OVALUS" help!!!
sss
patent ductus arteriosis may be what you are looking for

patent ductus AND ovalis
The MD probably paused between patent ductus and ovalis, instead of dictating "The patient is status post patent ductus AND ovalis." Ovalis is Latin for Ovale (which is New Latin for Oval), like in "foramen ovale." The MD probably meant the patient had both PDA and PFO corrections done.
Patent ductus arteriosus; foramen ovale - 2 different things.
Arteriosus is with "sus", not "sis".

You can have a patent foramen ovale....Does this help?
Thanks all for your help, but MD stated that the pt is status post patent ductus "ovalis" I l

I agree withj LowlyMT: patent, shotty veins.........
from One Look dictionary:

'patent' as adjective: clearly apparent or obvious to the mind or senses.

I would put a comma too:

patent, shotty veins.

This means that the veins are clearly visible (patent) and shotty (having small nodules), like shotty lymphnodes.'

patent used as an adverb to shotty, this would then be...

patently shotty veins, without a comma.

patent shotty veins vs patency of the shotty veins

They are nit-picking us to death here at work.  Granted the dynamics of the job is changing, but the line count we are supposed to attain does not allow for that.  They cannot have both a high line count and looking EVERYTHING up on the electronic chart to double check for accuracy.

My question now is....the doctor always says "patent shotty veins".  Now with their QA they are telling me it is "patency of the shotty veins".  Now I do not feel comfortable changing stuff around.  Which is right?
