I can't find a job that doesn't have you checking a million different places for patient information or physician names and addresses. Add onto that having a multitude of different accounts so that you rarely get the same dictators and can't use your Expander to its full potential. It's tough to keep account specs straight when you have several thrown at you in a short period of time because they keep running out of work or they find out you can do acute or ESLs. I want to make decent money at MT but I'm thinking it's impossible. I think there are too many variables. How long have you been an MT? How long have you been with your employer? IC or employee? How long on the same account? How long did it take to build up speed? Which platform is best? Which worktype is the best? Long or short reports? Acute or clinic? What's the line rate? Straight typing or repetitive enough to use the shortcuts to the max?
