I have a friend who is bilingual
She was born in Colombia and grew up here in the US. But she did not teach her kids Spanish because she did not want her husband to feel left out!!! I could never understand why she did her kids such a disservice. I would love to be able to speak another language. Fours years of high school Spanish, and all I remember is Una cerveza, por favor!
