My ex's daughter suffered from symptoms that were debilitating to the point she lost her job and ended up living with us. Her mother basically shunned her. Any confrontation about "when will you get a job?" led her right into a breakdown.

She did her best to become the woman of the house and I finally let because of it. Now, her father refuses to speak with her at all.

It was very difficult to say the least. She ruined the wedding by taking to many meds and needing to be led around like a sick person the entire day.

I only say that getting her into an adult living situation and letting the professionals handle her is your best bet if you hope to have a sound marriage.

Some mentally ill patients can use the illness as a reason to do just about anything.
