MQ has provided an avenue to accept complaints in a timely and professional manner. Use it. Fill out a complaint form. Get your fellow complainers to do that. Have their inboxes jammed full of those complaints -- legitimate, professional, formal complaints. That is the mechanism MQ put into place to handle problems and complaints and, by federal regulation, they must abide by their own policies and procedures. Try it at least.
If you're so brilliant then, why aren't you in a better line of work?

HELP with Shorthand. Suddenly today when I tried to start work today.sm
my ShortHand would type only the first letter of an expansion and then take all the letters away! I checked and the Type It button is grayed out! I have restarted the computer and looked on the Shorthand Help menu but can find nothing that applies. Can anyone please help me ASAP? I am lost without it! TIA

Another good one on Guru today. Pay is $25 per AUDIO hour.
With a 30-minute unpaid AUDIO test file. It sounds as if somebody got behind on their work and needs people to do it for free or minimum wage. Egads! What cheapos! I did an AUDIO hour tape this past weekend and made $100 off it. I could have charged more since it was a weekend stat but I gave the guy a break.

I don't think it matters which office you are out of (below posts) so much as which accounts. I am out of the Denver office and usually have work, but occasionally run out, mostly on weekends, holidays, AND AT THE END OF THE PAY PERIOD. Darn! I knew I would "pay" for taking that 3 hour swimming break in the outdoor pool up at the lake yesterday. Sure was nice though...getting our last "licks" in for the summer!!

I'm skeptical about DQS today. I have the option of working for one employer running the DQS platform, or my second job with another company, which is not on DQS.

Since there are no updates from the supervisors, I don't want to log in unless there's a reason. I'm in the south region.

profess to be, I doubt you would feel the need to broadcast it on a public forum. Wouldn't your abundant intellect be satisfaction enough? Wouldn’t you just prefer to sit and marvel at yourself in the mirror or something? Why would you bother to come here and post among those who probably don’t even have the slightest inkling as to your enormous intelligence?

Yep, I had to work today, didn't get dinner started until 1:30
So just got done with dinner at 5 pm!! But just thankful to have a job at home where I got to spend the day with my daughter, rather than if I would have had to go out to work today, like some people did! Maybe someday I will get the holiday off, but this is second best!

Today is different and you cannot fight companies who LEGALLY can offshore work.
So all Americans refuse to buy goods, shop at stores, or work for companies who offshore. That leaves a mess. Do you realize a lot of American companies are actually owned by foreigners? Get real and move into 2005. You are going to spend a lot of time boycotting once you do the research. I doubt you will be able to shop or work at all.

Not only did he not use school buses, and all public transportation to get his people out of the city, they did not even transport jail prisoners out of the city, they waited until the flood then opened the jails and let the prisoners out on the street. Nagin may run his mouth in public, but is no hero. He will blame anyone he can, other than himself, who is at the root of the problem. Even had the audacity to say, "because of their color". Get real. Who would have thought so may thousands of people would stay there and not evacuate? It was his job to see that people got out, and he FAILED miserably.

Emergency question for brilliant computers techs. sm
I just had a weird experience with my computer. The screen looked like it was shaking. I thought it was in Word at first, but the desktop was doing this also. It was like a wavy line was going down the screen, part of it would jump a little bit, then below it some more would jump. It was almost like a wave pattern to the side, I could see the edges of the screen moving in and out. I thought I saw this yesterday once or twice, but decided it was my eyes. It wasn't, this was definitely real. It lasted for approximately a minute. Is this something to worry about? TIA.
