BOS help installing CD sm

I am trying to get used to a new ISP, new computer, never installed my CD Rom for BOS 2, it asks which language it was written in, also where do I install it? Just on C or in my documents or "Word", I feel really illiterate, but I'm very, very tired, having a lot of trouble with new ISP. Is the CD rom more helpful than the book and if so, why? Sorry for so many questions, time is flying and I'm getting nothing done, it's disgusting, feel helpless. Thanks.

Need help installing VPN
I have installed the VPN and even got connected with it but when I go to open the webpage to start working it gives me the "cannot display webpage" message and the webpage will not open up. Is there a setting that I need to check or uncheck somewhere on my computer to get this VPN to work? What am I missing?

Problem with Word after installing IT - sm
This is not a huge deal but I put on my IT the other day, just got it, and now the dashed red line that normally comes up under typos doesn't. Is there a setting I can fix to get that to come back? I have looked but cannot find anything. I don't want to take it for granted that the spellcheck will fix them. Thanks.

installing an uninterruptable power supply (UPS)
I am preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. What concerns me is a power outage causing me to be unable to work for long periods of time. I have just purchased a generator but also am wondering if anyone has any information on installing an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) to their computer which is apparently a battery that will run your computer. I work for a national and wonder if this is permitted?

Problems after installing Netgear wireless router. sm
A few weeks ago I installed a Netgear wireless router. All of our computers are running very slowly, hang, and do not show pictures. Can anyone give me any help on how to correct this? Firmware is up-to-date. Thanks.

If I will ever be dissatisfied with McAfee, I would switch to Norton, but never to a free AV.
Is it their computer? Why are they installing a firewall and autocorrect on your computer? That sm
