crockpot ribs sm
sprinkle ribs with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Brown under broiler. Put in crockpot and maybe about 3/4 to a full bottle of bar-b-que sauce. I usually use about 3/4 bottle for about 6-8 country style ribs that are on the bigger side. Dice onion up and put in crockpot. Cook on low about 8-10 hours, depending on what type and how meaty the ribs are. I usually try to flip the ribs around (put the ones that were on top on the bottom, vice versa) about about halfway through as the sauce tends to all go to the bottom; that way the ones of top get to soak in the sauce good too. So easy to fix and tastes great. Meat falls right off the bone.
DH is BBQing ribs. I can't wait for snow so we don't have to
eat BBQ all the time. LOL I want some stew, chili, roast beef, meatloaf, and other warm comfort foods.
DH will be putting baby back ribs in the smoker,
grandma's potato salad, corn on the bbq, and MARGARITA'S!!
Lemon asparagus chicken
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 can cream of asparagus soup
1 Tbs lemon juice
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper or ground black pepper
Brown chicken breasts in 1 Tbs oil and set into a casserole dish. Pour off any grease. Combine all the rest of the ingredients and add to frying pan to deglaze. Bring to a boil and pour over chicken. Bake chicken at 350 for 45 min or until done. Serve with wild rice or something similar. Peas are a good side with this too.
lemon crock pot chicken
21/2 # chicken, cut up, 1/4 cup flour, 2 T cooking oil, 1 6 oz frozen lemonade,
thawed. 3 T brown sugar, 3 T catsup, 1 T vinegard, 2 T cold water, 2 T cornstarch. Combine flour with 1-1/4 tsp. salt. Coat chicken and brown thoroughly in hot oil. Place in crock pot. Stir together lemonade, brown sugar, catsup and vinegar. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on high heat 3 to 4 hours. Remove chicken. Pour liquid into saucepan. Return chicken to crock pot and cover to keep warm. Skim fat from liquid. Blend cold water into cornstarch and stir into hot liquid. Cook, stirring until thickened and bubbly. Serve chicken with gravy over hot cooked rice, noodles, or whatever you like.
the lemon is good, also pennyroyal oil...
and my sister used to use a bowl of water with some lemon joy dish soap. the fleas like the lemon, I guess, and would jump in and drown.
they also do not like pennyroyal oil...
I always used good old fashioned lemon juice -
in the bathwater for my beagle. She never ever had fleas EVER!!! I used an herbal shampoo of rosemary and pine and in her bathwater I would put about 1/2 cup to 1 cup of lemon juice in the water and rinse her off in it.
Try a slice of fresh lemon in water.
It changes the taste completely.
Geez, keep sucking on that lemon, sourpuss!

let them eat beans?!!
Tell it to them sister!!! Thirty miles away I can get a job as a receptionist making the same amount as I was making as a Transcriptionist at my local hospital 13.50/hr, as a transcriptionist. No worries about 98% accuracy. I could even make a mistake every once in a while, like a regular human being, as a transcriptionist!!!!!!
I give sweets and baked goods.....sm
I DO give baked goods/sweets about 4 times a year to my private MD offices. However, I NEVER score an account that way. I go in with myself and sell myself and not with any baked goods. *lol*

so easy to make your own baked chicken and tastes better.
Just wash a whole chicken (clean inside, as well) Then salt inside.
Put it breast-side DOWN on small baking rack in shallow baking sheet (I line the pan with foil first), bake at 350 for 30 minute, then turn the bird over onto its back (drain the cavity when you turn it over, put those droppings in the bottom of the cookie sheet). Bake for another hour, turn over (and drain cavity again) for 15-30 minutes, and then turn back on its back for a little longer. I do put some foil over the bird for the first hour or so just to save splatters on the oven. With whole chicken at 69 cents a pound, you just cannot get an cheaper, easier meal than this.
My version of fried chicken is baked! I NEVER fry anything! YUCK!
Red beans and rice.
Husband's fave, not mine. Smelly.
Yes, please somebody spill the beans.....
I'm STILL not hearing anything. Musta forgot to pay the darn light bill.

A bag of jelly beans is one of my favorites.
Use a large clear bag (if you can't find a clear trash bag, a drycleaning bag will work but does tear easily), cut holes in the bottom of the bag for your feet to go through and fasten the top around your neck. Fill with a variety of colors of small balloons. The small ballooons used for water balloons (however just fill them with air) work great. Take the label from a bag of jelly beans and enlarge it on the copy machine and either trace it onto the front of the costume or could even just adhere the copy to the costume. Doesn't work well if you have to travel very far in a car or have to sit very much, however!
Red beans and rice with smoked sausage...
And strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream for dessert...wow hungry now!
