LOL, Commie News Network? Facts? LOL
You get your news from CNN? Well, that explains a lot. As far as being ready for kids...Plenty of people have only as many kids as they can support themselves, AND buy their own house, AND provide for their own retirements. It's called planning, not reproducing to the extreme under the umbrella of being a "good Catholic" and then being unable to provide.
Okay, if it makes you feel better... Read it at CNN, Commie News Network.

Commie news?
Well my dear, it was different back in the 50s, obviously which you know nothing about. The world is a different place today and yes my parents followed the Catholic region to a T not that I agree it. I didn't say they couldn't provide, they provided 7 kids with good educations and values (even though mine may be questioned on here, which I don't mind), and at the time when my dad was working his tail off for John Deere, those people in those days in the 20s did not believe in putting their money in stocks because of the year of 1929 if you even know what happened in that year. We did live in a house that my parents bought. I did not say we were not provided for, I said we had everything we needed, nothing more. Well you must certainly be naive to think that Mr. Bush is a good president. Have you lost any people/friends in a war that was uncalled for. Talk to a Viet Nam Vet and see what they have to say. I have 3 brothers who all served our country. I don't know where you live, but go to the Walter Reed Hospital and see the men there. You might get an education. Bush lies to us and if you can't see it, you better take your blinders off. I hope you don't have kids old enough to have to serve in a war. God help you if you do.
Yes it is very sad. Not a ffan of network news, but Jennings did the 2000 New Years broadcast
where they showed different New Years celebrations in different countries and he handled it so well getting us all through the 2000 scare. Too bad about the lung cancer. It's an ugly but for the most part preventable disease. They say he was a heavy smoker. All the sadder.
What network? It comes on @ 11 p.m. Friday on USA network where I live. - nm
I loved being paid for production/quality as opposed to being with the co. since
the beginning of time. And those long timers that I worked with tended to produce the least work and dish out the most criticism. I felt like a work horse and was paid half of what the 10 plus years on the job MTs in-house were. This created hostility, needless to say.
I prefer software as opposed to looking it up in reference books...
I like the Stedman's word books software that you download on the computer and when you want to look something up you just click a button versus getting the book out and looking for it. I seems much quicker to me.
We have a gunite pool as opposed to vinyl/sand liner..
The gunite is definitely more expensive, but lasts much longer. I'm in NH and I see signs for gunite pools starting at 19,900 around here, but I have no idea what that includes. As usual, the advertisement and the actual cost out the door are probably too different things. Also, expect your electric bill to hit the roof even if you run the filter only 12 hrs out of 24. But it's worth it to us... Our kids are pre-teens and virtually LIVE in that thing, so we don't regret buying this house.
just checked i-mail. no news. how did you get your news?
love,
frank
News flash..Don't know where you get your news, but the economy is doing very well.
s
My theory is no news is good news. (sm)
If there is really a problem with your transcription, then I would not worry about it. They will get to you if you screw up.
As far as policies and procedures, look in your manual. I am sure they gave you info for all of that stuff. JMO.
I have good news and bad news 4U...
The good news is on Saturday, July 1 many of your least favorite residents will be "graduating." The bad news is that on the same day you'll be getting a virtual box of candy with brand new residents who have no clue how to dictate! RU excited?? ARGHHHH!!!!
Always be looking. Every day. Network with others. SM
I have the best job I've ever had in my life, and it came from friends on the board. Every job I get is the same way. Word of mouth. I have only filled out one application for employment since 1983 and I already had the job.
They really are out there and it sounds like you are qualified. Are you wanting full time or part time?
We could have our own network MTtV
Have a show like Candida Camera where a resident spends an hour with a patient that he doesn't understand. When the doctor asks where the pain is the patient can point to his chest and as soon as the MD starts listening to the chest, the patient can change his mind and tell him the pain is in the back. When he goes to the back, the patient can tell him, "no wait, in the stomach". He can give him a list of medicines all spelled wrong and dosages all wrong. Then when the doctor is giving him instructions, the patient can start talking on his cellphone, making the doctor sit and wait while the patient talks to someone else.
Or....
In another episode of Candida Camera, show a physician talking to consulting doctor who speaks a number of different dialects or a doctor who talks a million milds a minute in half-syllable words. Watch Dr. A try to understand what Dr. B as he makes up words, lab tests, and diagnoses.
network solutions dot com....nm
For the network either, apparently.
BTW, I think it sucks that he left his wife and poor little ill baby for his new co-star. Glad it was canceled!!!
What about DISH network?
We are not worried about the TV aspect as we do not own a TV! This would be strictly for the internet service.
Is the printer on a network?
You may have to "wake up" the computer that printer is directly connected to and/or reboot that computer.
hughes network
I had them also before as I live way out there. They sound a little better than Wildblue but I still had many problems and felt they were not much faster than dial up either. We now also have DSL with windstream and even though it is the slowest connection that windstream has, it is better than dialup or satellite. I enjoy it also. To get started with Hughes network it cost me $800.00 to buy the dish and $60.00 a month. I still have the dish on the house and have no use for it. I too am happy with my DSL.
Network Problem
The problem could be any of several different things. We'll have to step through this and I'll need to be able to ask you some questions so we should probably take this offline to email.
Just hit "Reply by E-mail" at the bottom of this post with the subject "Network Problem" and I'll get back to you.
network air card
I have one which I purchased a month ago. it works well. I went with Verizon because it is 5 Gigs and ATT is only 3 Gigs of usage which makes a lot of difference. It works well and is portable. Sounds like it would be good for you in your situation. The first bill is more becuase of the setup fee, etc. ($112). I have not decided if I will keep my internet carrier or just have the Verizon. it is enough unless you want to view movies do a lot of video stuff. That will send you over the amount and cost a lot more. Hope you granddaughter gets better post haste. Will remember her in prayer.
Virtual Private Network.

How hard is it to network 2 systems
I would like these 2 systems to talk with each other and have no idea of how to do it?
He's still on the air because he owns the network. Nuff said? nm
:
You can Google for the show on the network and
read episode summaries online. Or there are websites out there with the fullblown scripts of every episode posted. I think they're even coming up with websites where you can legally watch reruns for $.99. I used to read the long scripts on my favorite TV show when we didn't have cable.
Global Transcription Network
Has anyone heard of the company "Global Transcription Network," was offered a job today. Thanks bunches everyone.
Global Transccription Network
Where is the company located. I worked for a company that bought out a company by that name. If it is one in the same - do your best to run the other way.
Global Transcription Network
It is based out of Texas.
Anything that Rachael Ray from the Food Network says
..
Never heard of it ... what time is it on and what network? Thx. nm
Next Food Network Star
Anybody watch The Next Food Network Star tonight on Food Network? Yvonne got "voted off the island" this time - she was always cooking ethnic and hispanic foods that were good, but she copped an attitude when she got voted off. The guy from Iowa is still going strong! I betcha the blond chunky guy wins (is Guy his name?) though.
I think the important part is the network
Homeschooling with others in a network is a little different than just plain homeschooling.
So, how do these children learn to pick their battles? Do you as a homeschooling parent throw an eraser at them once in a while or pass a love note?
I'm not so sure I understand.
Check out Network Solutions.
They will register your domain name for you as well as host your site. They're also readily available if you have any questions. I went with them on the recommendation of a friend who is a website designer and have been very happy with my decision. It was pretty easy to design my website on their site as well. Their website address is below. Feel free to email me if you have further questions. momtypes @ comcast.net
Your wireless network and Wii are probably in the same frequency.
Your Wii is interfering with the wireless network. We just purchased home theater system and were considering the wireless speakers. When I asked the salesman about possible intereference with the wireless network, he said that is a problem and we decided instead to go with the wired speakers.
I'm not an expert in this field but you could try checking with someone like the Geek Squad or Firedog at Circuit City to be certain.
MT mentoring email network
Hello, I was curious if anyone out in MT land would be interested in starting a new MT mentoring program with me. I'm not advertising or anything like that, I just have an idea that I would like to have a sort of email network that new MTs (or experienced ones too) might be able to email me their question and I would have a group of MTs I could email the question out to who could respond if they knew the answer. Does that make sense? This would be a free service just to help fellow MTs out.
I think this is something that would be invaluable to new (or old) MTs because I remember being a newbie at home and being sort of lost in space as it were. If you are interested you can email me.

Isn't network marketing another name for Amway?
xx
Amway, Quixstar & Network Marketing
First let me tell you that there is nothing wrong with Network Marketing and that it's a wonderful business to be in. The best advice I can give is first of all, research several companies and see what their compensation plans are. I would NOT sign up based on someone feeding me a bunch of hype. Also, look for a product that you can believe in. Next, check out the company. Just as it is done here, everyone is checking out all the companies before they get in. Make sure that the company is founded and operated on sound ethics and business practices. As for spending a lot of money on books, tapes and seminars.....ALL of us should be doing that on a DAILY basis. It's called personal development and that is the best thing in the world you can do for yourself. So to sum it up and because of limited space to write here....tell them to GO FOR IT!!! If you have any questions go ahead and email me and I can go into much more detail to help. Take care and have a blessed day!
I wasn't putting down Network Marketing...sm
Simply stating where the money in Quixtar comes from. Sure, you get a bonus check every month if you sell products, but the majority of the money comes from the tools. Tapes that are made from Quixtar seminars are sold and pushed on people. If you don't get on the tool program, they don't want to help you - because they won't make money if you don't buy the tools.
Anyone work for Global Transcription Network
Any comments? I'm a new hire, and looking for any feedback. Based out of Arlington TX.
Is anyone else as disgusted as I am with the current network TV fare? (sm)
I have never seen so much junk on television as there seems to be this summer season so far. I tuned in to those two new reality series - the one on ABC last night, Master of Champions, and the one on NBC on Tuesday, America's Got Talent. The one on Tuesday was nothing more than a take-off of the old Gong Show. Ridiculous people doing crazy stuff that somebody thinks is talent. And the only really "talented" ones are minor talents at best. Last night's show I thought would be more interesting with the contortionist kid who shot an arrow with her feet (that one was actually good) and drift drivers. However, they lost me in the first five minutes when they turned the drift drivers into motorized cheese graters. (They basically had to do cookies about this block of cheese with this grater attachment.) This reality stuff has just gone completely overboard when the major networks are putting this kind of garbage. This is the type of stuff I would expect to see on the lesser networks. I'm ready to throw the TV out the window!
I agree. I only watch network television
in the summer occasionally. That's if there is an episode of Dateline, 20/20, etc. that I am interested in. I have DirectTV, so I usually watch other channels such as Discovery, Discovery Health Channel, Animal Planet, Bravo, etc. And I normally try to find a good movie on one of the movie channels. Network TV usually sucks in the summer.
I think you need to network the puters, not make a connection. Anyone know what
s
Unless there is a network to connect to, you're out of luck.
Basically, you need to have an available network (also called hot spot) that will allow you to connect to the Internet. The card is only hardware, not the actual network.
Okay, the office has agreed to a network, but I have some questions..SM
Does anyone know exactly what this involves? I know we have to have an IT person do it. What do they do to set up a network betwen 7-8 computers? I'm trying to understand this more before I contact the IT person, so I don't sound like a complete dummy.
Does anyone know how much something like this costs?
TIA
Are you on a network or single computer at work?
Lots of things can make this happen. It depends on the normal.dot if that's where you are saving them. Some networks won't let you save to the normal.dot.
fox network on Tuesday nights, at 9 p.m. central time, nm

I thought the network had mistakenly cut to a horror film

Dish Network versus Direct TV. Need advice..sm
I am trying to decide between Dish or Direct TV and would like to hear from those who have (or have had) either as to which system is better. I have done research on the web but would like opinions from users as far as reliability, service, channel selection, cost, if you can split a receiver between different rooms or need a receiver for each television in order to watch a different channel, etc. Any opinion is appreciated! Thanks.
Have wireless network, just plug my foot pedal into my
laptop. Many companies say they are internet-based, but that may mean that you can download and then get off-line to work, or it may mean that you have to be on-line and type live into their system. I have found very few companies these days where you can download and then work off-line.
I agree! They're looking for you to upload to a network drive,
which is totally not your responsibility to provide for them. If they don't want to install a network and dedicated drive, they can turn on their file sharing but allow ONE computer to be the master computer. All other computers would have access to the shared folder on the "main" computer. However, they would HAVE to be sure they uploaded the files again to the main drive after making changes.
As for the search feature, they've already got that built into Windows. Start Menu, Search for Documents, Advanced Search options, "A word or phrase contained in the document," type the patient's name into the box, and specify which drive to search on. Hit OK and voila!
If the home you're visiting has a wireless network, you can connect to that.
When you're there, let the computer search for the network and when it is recognized, connect to it. You will need to enter a passcode if it is a secured network (which it should be). You can save that confirguration to your laptop for future visits. It's really the same process as with a wireless router at home.
Now, if neither router is wireless, you can get a cable from places like Staples that will connect directly into your laptop and the back of the router. You will still need to set up the laptop as described above but, again, that configuration can be saved.
I live in a small town and we don't have Starbucks, Panera, etc., close by but the public library has a wireless network that I can connect to for free; you might want to check into that option as well.
The biggest thing you should be concerned with is that you are operating on a secure network and that information going across the network is at the very least encrypted according to HIPAA standards.
