that this man is not a person? Just because he has a mental illness and is on disability does not mean that he's not a person, or that he should just be ignored. H-E-L-LO! ! ! Mental illness is just that -- an ILLNESS!!! Why else would he be getting disability? I'm so sick of people viewing the mentally ill as "nuts," or de-valuing them and discounting their ability to have a meaningful life or relationship.
To the OP, obviously you love your husband dearly, and he loves you. Your son needs a father and a stable family environment that he can depend on. I'm praying that you all can work this out.

It sounds like you are suggesting
that you create a note based on what you think he usually says or probably will say. Very bad idea. You'll just have to wait on him to dictate.
not suggesting we quit driving, just think.....sm
I just think if we grew more corn, turned corn into fuel, we'd drive that way and NOT POLLUTE either.......*S*
I wasn't suggesting she call the IRS and ask if the
company was legit - gee whiz the IRS is not going to recommend such a company even if it is legit. I suggested the call the IRS instead of the company and try to work something out. Waiting until the last minute isn't the best time to try to get something done, but I would still see what the IRS was willing to work out - if anything.
No, I think the OP is suggesting throwing a fit to get the troops home NOW.
