That is a really good idea. I think I will do that for Taffy. We have had so many cats and dogs both, who have passed, and that would have been really nice to have, but there is no time like the present. Thank you for the idea. You know, my sister recently died from breast cancer. Her cat (really her baby) Opie was in fine health until she got sick. He died several months before she did, and we felt so bad because it was just one more thing for her to have to deal with, and she was already going through enough. But several weeks after Opie died, I had a thought, and I really think I'm right, that he just did not want to live here without her, and so he decided he would go first and wait for her there, cause he know she would be coming soon. I'm just sitting here crying as I write this, so many emotions come to the surface. Thanks again for sharing your idea.
so much in common, Andromeda
Besides our love of animals. I raised my 3 without ever one penny from my now dead ex. In 1977, (the laws were very different then), he had them for a few months in the summer, and he went to court in Florida, where he lived, claimed that I abandoned them, and got legal custody (which I already had in my own state). He refused to return them, and with God's help, and something that would have appeared like an episode of Starsky and Hutch, I "kidnapped" them back because there was nothing I could do legally. Thank goodness the laws have changed since. Yes, he had the pool, the motorcycles, the money, the boat, etc.etc. and tried to turn mine against me -- but it didn't work.
yeah tough crowd. makes or breaks a comedian. don't quit your day job andromeda
no one is bent out of shape. it is what it is and the people bent out of shape are those who want everyone to laugh generically without any thought to the content.
