Cirie has done a wonderful job playing the game.

Terry has done a great job getting the immunity to keep himself in the game, and we all know he has the idol for extra immunity, but I do believe he's getting cocky and that rubs me the wrong way. He'll definitely be around awhile, but can he make it to the end?

Playing CD-R
Do you have a photography program, such as Adobe Photoshop, etc.? In order for me to view my photo CDs, I have to open them through my Photoshop program.
Try this:
1. Put your CD in the computer.
2. Open your photo program. There should be a choice, such as "Get Picture", etc. Click on that.
3. You should then have some sort of choice of where to get the picture FROM, such as "Folder", "Drive", "CD", etc. etc. If one of the choices is from your CD, or the drive your CD is in (mine is "E", yours may be different), click on that.
4. If that works, you should then have a list of folders, or a list of picture titles, or whatever. If you click on a folder or picture name, it SHOULD open it in your photo software.
If I just want to view stuff QUICKLY, I invested in a wonderful software program called "Quick View Plus" from Inso Corporation. I love it because it really IS fast, and it'll open just about anything. You may be able to find it at:

You should try playing around with those
settings. In order to move my screen to the right or to the left, I have to push 1 button in to tell it whether I want it go vertical or horizontal and then push the other button to adjust that way.
Since your screen didn't reset when you rebooted, I would have to think the problem is with the monitor itself, i.e. adjust your settings or you have a blackout, which I think means you would have to replace it.
Have you visited the monitor company's website for troubleshooting tips and how to work those settings. There may be free tech support available there.
Your mother was right - but not playing the
sisters games and not allowing her to use you for holidays does not mean you don't love her.

It is just so sad that they take something that has the potential to be good and turn it and distort it and make it ugly. If in your search you run into Davis Transcription, please beware. mind games with us because I do the same thing with Jello! I never make it, but I can say I have at least 3 or more boxes of the pudding and the Jello at all times. My children often see it and beg me to make it. What's the deal? Really, I think it's a leftover 'Bill Cosby' thing for me. I don't know what makes me buy it, I don't even like it. It's an illness. make a password for the computer. I don't agree with be glad it's just video games -- addictions are addictions and can affect the family life just as bad as alcohol, porn or any other bad addiction.
If he's ignoring his family due to the games and it's creating a problem, then it IS a problem. I'm so fortunate in that my DH doesn't even know how to turn on a computer. He's never had an interest.
Password protect the computer. Tell him it's off limits. He will get used to not playing anymore.

when you click on the attachment, you should see open, save, or run. You could save it to your desktop and then open it with Express Scribe, if you have it. Right click on test file, you should see 'open with' with some options. If you have Express Scribe, this should be one of them. Media player or other media players will play it, but not with a pedal, so Express Scribe is your best bet. Good luck!

Don't get the video
You pay an extra hundred for that video screen. Do you really think you are going to download and watch videos? and 7500 tunes? But the real reason besides the money is those screens are notorious for cracking and that is not covered under warranty.

Express Scribe not playing end of dictation?
Every once in a while I get a file that Express Scribe can't play the last 2-4 minutes of. It appears to be playing, but the sound cuts out. When I send the reports to QA, they say they can hear the whole file fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there something wrong on my end? I checked the NCH website and others have posted this same problem but have received no responses so I am trying here instead. I also tried to play the file in Windows Media and it stops at the same point, but says it can't play the file. I am just confused why QA can get it to play, but I cannot.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone remembered an old video that was used to train medical terminology. It was in cartoon style....and it taught the breakdown of terminology.....one I remember was gastr....gastruck...stomach.

It could be your video card is going bad.
Does it give you any kind of error message when it won't boot up or does it just sit there?

The prosecutor in Atuba, I believe her name is Carin Janssen, said the father and the two boys can still be rearrested. They did not have enough to hold them but they are still part of the investigation. For any father to tell his son without a body there is no crime, how awful. You get a grip, it is so obvious the boy is involved and the two friends helped him cover it up.

I watched the video with the interview with the Aruban prosecutor, which was on MSNBC videos in the internet..check it out, maybe it is still there. She said the father was arrested for interfering with an investigation by talking to the boys and telling them no body, no crime.

Go to MSN.com, on the left side are all categories for the news. Go down the column till you see videos (or news videos), about three quarters down page. Click on that, a box will come up with a selection of videos to watch. To the left are categories you can pick from. There is also a search box. Type in Aruba in the search box, click on the arrow and all the videos from the case come up. There prosecutor is the blonde lady, about second row of videos. There were two sessions with her. Click on the play button under the video and you will be able to watch the interview with the prosecutor.
So glad you had the video going or they would have taken your puppy. sm
Moral of the story: Don't let your puppy play with kids unsupervised. Look into puppy class/puppy kindergarten in your area. Vet's office should be able to tell you where they are. They are fantastic for socializing puppies with other dogs, kids, and adults. Just completed class with my puppy. Sad to think how many good pups have been put down due to behavior of naughty kids/adults too. So happy this worked out for you and your kids.

it deeply sickens me to think that this was the last face she saw before she died. May her sweet little soul rest in peace with her mother.

and relistened, I had to change my opinion. He sounded great. On the video, the fiddler and the background singer are less distracting and you can really hear Taylor sing.

Home Video to computer anyone?
Does anyone know anything about transferring home videos to computer? When I got a digital camera I had to play with the program which came with the camera for a while before I got the hang of it. I now have a digital video camera and trying to get the video to the computer. I think I have a program that edits video but it asks me about a source. All I did so far is plug the camera via USB port to the computer. Oh, the camera did not come with any special program. Any ideas. Thanks.

Since I am working on Express Scribe, any E-mail I get with a video file, just goes straight to audio ... duh, I know there is an answer, but I am very IT challenged and was wondering if there was an easy fix to this one. Thanks, guys!
