antidepressants
I take Cymbalta, Lithium, Klonopin, and Lunesta. I know they are all different classifications of drugs, but they work for me.
Does anybody else out there take multiple antidepressants?nm

would stay away from antidepressants if possible because
they are infamous for having a side effect of weight gain. HOWEVER, I would recommend finding a really good counselor. After 15 years of depression and anxiety, I found a great counselor. After working with him for 6 months, was depression and anxiety free without medication (which personally I would have said impossible). You are eating for a lot more reasons than hunger. Get to the bottom of a lot of hidden, stuffed things and the weight will take care of itself, IMHO.
You are very ignorant about depression and antidepressants...SM
The drugs you list are NOT "happy" pills and are NOT addicting. They correct a chemical imbalance in the brain and (hopefully) allow the depressed person to feel somewhat NORMAL again. They are not uppers as you imply.
Unless you've experienced the living hell that is clinical depression and the wonders these medications can do, keep your mouth shut.
Been in therapy and on antidepressants in the past
and ended up worse off than I was to start with, especially since my therapist told me that he didn't believe I had been sexually abused and that I was just seeking attention. What a slap in the face that was.
I'm just in a rut. This happens about every couple of years when life just seems to gang up on me.
Certain antidepressants/anti-anxiety meds also attribute to being antagonistic.
