This individual is not someone who transcribes on
a routine basis, she was more like an account manager who assigned the work and now is assistant director of operations, I think, so I doubt she would have a stockpile of "normals" she made for herself on any account, nor have a super expansion file. Which leaves 1 explanation. I worked with her when she was at another company and she never typed there, more like a clerk-typist position.
the way the QA/MTSO transcribes
Are your being QA'd by an Indian? Does your employer outsource and do they use Indian QA? It is happening.
I beg to differ with you. An MT transcribes,
she/he should not have to translate/decipher what a rude person is trying to say. Doctors should realize, just as the MT does, how important that medical record is and that their dictation of that medical record is vitally important. Maybe they should be taught dictation and manners and grammar, etc.
well, if her typos are any indication of how she transcribes...nm
.
Like it or not, a "transcriber" is "one who transcribes" sm
Transcriber - noun: someone who makes a written version of spoken material
We get paid $1.10 for radiology reports and my supervisor transcribes also sm
she pick all the easy doctors. How I know this is because if she doesn't finish them all she says "I have work that I couldn't finish I need someone to finish up." They are all the same doc no more than 3 lines or normals.
My sister transcribes for a nursing home with about 5 doctors.
