I agree Nagin and Blanco screwed up and were not "qualified" to handle a situation of this magnitude. This was compounded by FEMA head's total incompetence and total lack of "qualifications."
The only difference is, we trust our President, when he has the liberty of appointing someone to such qualification-necessary job, to appoint someone with qualifications, not a buddy who helped him become elected or a vet that who knows what favor he did.
The people elected Nagin and Cohen and they let the people down. The people elected Bush. Guess we're not too good at choosing qualified leaders.
