Sour grapes

LOL, I will not be the only one that "sound sour grapes"
I type radiology now and work for a wonderful smaller company locally in Wyoming.
A few sour grapes won't ruin the whole jar of jelly.
;)
Not sour grapes - We recorded the game
and have watched those plays more than a few times.
Especially the one where he was CLEARLY NOT over the line with the ball, only his shoulders and HE KNEW IT. He looked RIGHT at the camera as if to say, "Am I gonna get away with this"?
The ball was far too low underneath him to be even close to his head. Watch the replay and see for yourself.
I will admit it. I cried. Cried like a baby! I (sniff) still (sniff) can't.... talk about it much. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
obviously you're not full of sour grapes...nm
x
sour grapes, dearie? Oh, i forgot, you
Phil IS sour grapes....called that on TV...nm
that is correct, LOL. Sour grapes from me I guess. LOL. nm
.
Yep, sour grapes is right. Typical attitude of people who are angry with life.

Hey, I think you coined a new phrase, green grapes. Love it!!
Happy New Year!!
Don't listen to the old sour apples...
However, if you are starting from scratch with no medical background and no training in transcription, you are 2-3 years from making ANY kind of money even IF you can find a job at home. It's like learning another language, the language of medicine. If you already have a medical background and have taken terminology, a way to more quickly get into the business would be to find a single doctor doing one specialty, saying the same thing over and over. However, if you're inexperienced it might be hard to get a doctor to trust you with his transcription. I don't know anything about your situation, so it's hard to answer. Any more info?
Addendum
Dr. G has changed his mind and would now like to adopt Dr. D's style.
ADDENDUM.....sm
and what that equates to....I work Friday, Saturday, Sunday for MQ - so I worked the entire last 2 weekends and I'm availing myself today also due to lack of private work. *S*
addendum...
Basically, the way I understand it, all of your expenses, whether equipment, supplies, utilities, insurance, dues, etc. will be subject to the 2% rule, only that amount over 2% of your adjusted gross.
Addendum to my above post--sm
I also forgot to mention another suggestion for getting better line counts would be staying off this board...and I am sorry to say that, but it takes a lot of time to come on this board, read any new posts, answer the ones we want to answer, and then go back to work. I see some people on here an awful lot all through the day and I really wonder how they get any work done. I have to limit myself too, sometimes. Just a thought.
addendum to insurance q...
Sorry when I mentioned the low-key $50K "health insurance" in my last post under insurance Q...I meant to say $50,000 life insurance...that is I meant to say you might want to try applying for life insurance before applying for health insurance.
addendum to my answer
by federal I mean federal withholding and self employment taxes - the FICA and MedFICA .
addendum to my op -- poll
A question but now with the economy being what is is how many "significant others/spouses" now work M-F? If they do, on weekends, they are probably trying to do things around the house, lawn care, fixing things and so on -- so while they are doing that, what is wrong with an MT trying to put a few hours in on a Saturday or Sunday when they work for a service doing acute care? Only reason I ask is that my other half is off during the week, but I still manage to try to put in 3-4 hours in even on my "days off".
addendum--here's the link

Addendum: But ya'll go ahead! :)

addendum: chilly = 10 degrees at 7 a.m.

Addendum: Batteries not included.
OMG... I feel even better now. I was looking at the back of the box and it said you need a AAA battery. Wow... I thought the sound was great before --- that was without the battery which I did not even notice because of the design of the headphones. Now, for the first time in 9 years working for MQ I am proud to say that I had to turn the volume DOWN. Too loud...hurt my ears...ooww. LOL Glad I was able to exchange my MQ stock for something useful... a pack of 2 AAA batteries for my new headphones.... Life is good.
Sort of funny addendum to above
I do some transcription for this hospital, and they go on and on in their reports, but anytime we have ever been there, it seems they don't have much interaction with the patient. Lol ... You can help but wonder about that!
addendum: I think Moderator Cher is one of the
nicest, fairest and most dedicated.
I smell a corrective addendum coming -
The doc says,"the debridement contained subcutaneous and healthy necrotic tissue." Say, what? Healthy necrotic tissue?
Addendum: As well as your fund of medical terminology knowledge.
Sweet and Sour Soup, Potstickers, Mandarine Salad, Beef and Broccoli.
Gotta love him.
Grilled steak with salsa, broccoli and baked potatoes with sour cream -- One of my favs!

An addendum, minor corrections are one thing - being a slob dictator who consistently cannot put his

Green Tea
I use the tea for pain control. However, I have not experienced those symptoms. Are you talking about constipation? I hope your symptoms have nothing to do with the tea.
Green Tea
Wondering if it could be an allergic reaction of some type?
IF, I drink heated tea, I devolop a rash about the size of a baseball on my right forearm near the wrist...no place else and not with ice tea. Allergist said it was a true allergic reaction and the cure?? Don't drink it
I'm green and don't know what you mean
Probably ignorant on my part, but I don't know what you mean by becoming a cherrypicker. Can you fill me in?
I am sorry that you are so green -
I have no reason to come on this board and post BS; I came on to give some encouragement to others and to see if I could help out somebody who cannot figure out why they are not producing their lines. We all waste our typing time without even realizing it.
Good luck to you and I hope your negativity disappears from your life!
Any green tea users out there?
I have tried green tea on 2 separate occasions and both times experienced what appears to be bloody stools with it. As soon as I stop the intake of the tea, the blood goes away. I really like the tea as it does a good job of promoting energy and weight loss, but I cannot understand why it causes this reaction. Would anyone have any idea why this happens? Is there another natural energy booster I can try? Thanks for any and all help.
Green tea is an anticoagulant. You should have
a bleeding time (PT, PTT, etc.) to see if you are prone to bleeding. Another simple way to see would be to eat a few pieces of black licorice every day and see if you get the same problem after a few days.
Does green tea have caffeine? nm

Which ones pull in the green?
Which ones are you gals/guys transcribing that you are able to do 200-300/hour? I have condensed it down to ops and maybe radiology. What are the most awesome expansion accounts in your opinion-copy and paste if you will!!
Is there anybody transcribing this amount of lines on acute or multi specialty? Specialty, a single specialty, I could believe. Ops I can believe. Haven't done rad so don't know. What are the best "COPY AND PASTE" situations you know of?
Thanks to all you green-thumbers! nm

um - who is Rodney Green? *lol*....sm
only Rodney Green I know is a singer/drummer/performer

Fried green tomatoes
I am green with envy. I saw him a few years ago..
I paid $175 per ticket so I could have floor seats. I was maybe 20 rows from the stage. That was the year he toured with Billy Joel. Anyway, the show was fabulous. He played a nice mix of old songs and newer songs. He wears the most incredible, elaborate outfits. The first was was a teal green suit, covered in sequins and rhinestones. I wondered how heavy it must have been. He changed for the second set, and I think the suit was pink, not sure, but it was also fantastic!! The only thing that disappointed me was he really did not interact with the audience as much as I expected. But the performance itself was wonderful, and I would love to see him again. As far as the crowd goes, it was not a rock concert crowd at all. The average age was probably around 40, lots of women, no craziness, no drugs that I saw. Very mild mannered crowd.
Sounds like you have a bed of green pasture already...sm
Why tip the applecart? If you wanted to shoot for 11 cpl, you'd have to weigh the aggravation factor. Seriously, all aspects of your job sound very inviting, and your line rate is at the upper limit of normal for a national or franchise. Good for you!
ER died with Mark Green - Not the
him, Carol and Doug. One thing that got to me though, why didn't Carol and Doug show up for his funeral???? The newer episodes just don't have the same uumph - I stick to the reruns on TNT.
agree ! and how about Rodney Green with
no shirt on - hubba hubba !
SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE! lol

I love green tea, but not too close to bedtime, or will be up, um,

There is a product called Green Light
or you might try a systemic insect killer that you just put on top the soil and water it. Just do not use it for any plant that bears fruits or vegetables. They both work well.
So far all I have is some fresh green beans and potatoes....nm
Has anyone tried the green tea thing for weight loss? nm
nm
Oh, all bad carbs except for sausage. Where's the green veggies?
Definitely NOT my first car, a used 1974 pea green Ford Pinto.
